I came here just off this site's recomondation...and because I was bored... There's nothing here, they had two Rouge's and some $13 per 4 pack Sam Smith's and a few moldy cigars.. Other than that there was AB products stacked against the wall, and a rather toothless lady working the counter, who was busy explaning the ins and outs of how to get the most from unemployment...seriously.. to her son. I took the two Rouge's a Mori moto whatever and a dead guy... the Ale was as old and flat as possible, and for the first time ever, my dog drank a $4 beer...he liked it, I didn't.

Slipped in here after getting gas a the BP next door, was happy to find a few WV beers (gotta tick WV sometime...) For being a tobacco shop, forward on cigars, they pay pretty nice attention to beer. You aren't going to be dazzled by walls and walls of singles, but what they have will more than suffice. In addition to the decent bottle selection, they do growler fills. Service was nothing to write home about. Dollar surcharge for credit / debit despite being well over the $5 minimum that most places charge seemed a bit trifling, but what the hell, not like I have to shop there every day.

They have gotten a better selection over the last couple of years and now include Terrapin, Southern Tier, Bridge Brew Works, Greenbrier Valley, Mountain State, Duclaw, along with a few imports. Definitely one of the better places in Raleigh county to buy beer.

Very nice place. Large selection of craft beers. Nearly 4 doors of cold craft and import beers. They also have all the national brands such as budweiser, coors lt and miller lt products. The beer is ice cold too! They have a thermostat in th door showing the 31 degree freezing temp. They have many beers you just dont find in WV. Shipyard, Napa Smith,Flying Dog, Seadog, Lauging Dog, Rogue, Sammy Smith, Great Lakes, Sierra Nevada, Organic beers, local Bridge Brew Works beers, and many imports to along with that. For the area and in general, I was very pleased with their selection. They also had a large walk-in humidor! They had a ton of fresh premium cigars. Rockey Patel, Macanudo, Montecristo, Acid, Arturo Fuente, Cohiba, La Gloria Cubana, Ashton and a bunch I cant even think of. They also had any tobacco and tobacco related product imagianable. Cigarettes, snuff, loose tobacco, chewing tobacco and as stated before - CIGARS! The service was great. I was there in eveing and the store had several customers. The shop was very clean and smelled of fresh paint. An unexpected surprise in Beaver West Virginia! I got a Montecristo #2 and a local Bridge Brew Trubel and will definialty go back.

unfortunately with a name like tobacco town you are not going to find a huge selection of beer, however for the area it is in the selection wasn't bad. when you enter the building the beer coolers are on the left against the wall, not as big as i was expecting. definitely the place to go for rogue beers, they had mocha porter, imperial IPA, amber ale, hazelnut brown ale, yellow snow, chocolate stout, etc, they also have stuff like anchor steam brews, Guiness, Framboise lambic, a ton of BMC beers, Stella Artoise, Great Lakes burning river and Edmund Fitzgerald.

they have a small selection of wines including the local Daniel Vineyards and a few imports, but not the biggest selection around. however if you want tobacco that is the place to go, they have a cigar case, tons of pipe tobacco and a cabinet full of bongs and glass pipes. I will say though that from living in the area, if a place sales bongs and pipes you are going to get a tough crowd coming in there, but i did not feel uncomfortable going in, it was a pleasant yet short visit and if i ever crave some rogue beer i will definitely go back. The lady at the counter was really sweet and asked if i needed any help while i was looking around and told me to let her know if i did need help. They do charge a dollar for using a debit/credit card, so with the card, i paid $12.12 for a 6 pack of rogue mocha porter.

i will say though that i am thankful for a place like this around Beckley and in West Virginia in general, the more stores that offer craft brew the more people will buy it and the more beer will ship our way. These little shops like this is all we have to get craft beer to the locals so i will definitely support it as much as I can. i will be really happy when we get some Dogfish Head in the area.

Poor Tabacco Town. I think they may try although I'm not for sure.
For WV the selection is ok. I have seen better sadly enough. Pretty much you can get some Samuel Smith, an maybe some Rogue bombers. Beyond that you have BMC everywhere. It's almost hard to make your way through the store due to all the cases of this crap on special. I don't know if the cigars are good or not. I know thepeople I know that smoke don't pick up stuff here. My big problem is they don't take any credit cards, but they will take a check.
