Beer Attack, a smooth Irish style Red Ale that is hand crafted in small batches boasting the finest organic Perle and Fuggle hops along with six different organic and one non-organic malts. Brewed and infused with “curiously odd” ingredients, Dr. Jekyll’s Beer Attack exhilarates the senses through its complex flavors and aroma by combining a touch of cinnamon with a mildly sweet, nuttiness along with a hint of smokiness from imported peated malt. Super foods such as cinnamon oil, garlic, hawthorne berry, maqui berry, algal oil and flax seed oil are all blended together in perfect unison to make your heart and senses sing!

THE WORST BEER I HAVE EVER DRUNK. And I've had a few bad ones. This one tastes like sucking on a wet rope that's been lying in a Port-A-Potty for three days. That's right. A ropey dung taste.

Poured into a Dogfish Head pint glass. Pours a dark, slightly hazy, red orange, with a half finger light khaki head that dissipates to a ring around the glass with slight lacing. Aroma of sweet bready malt, berries and cinnamon. Flavor is neutral malt, berries, smoke and cinnamon, lightly earthy. Finishes with slightly astringent hop bitterness and cinnamon sharpness. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Claims to be curiously odd and is somewhat. Nice job of using berry juice to enhance the natural berry notes of a red ale. The smoke is light, but adds an interesting dimension. The cinnamon is just curiously odd, but is light enough to fit with the rest. A bit unbalanced and although the ingredients don’t quite meld, they do a good job of fitting the style with an interesting twist. I enjoyed this off-beat take on an Irish red.

Packs a wallop on taste. This beer hits hard and fast with a bold, smoky peat flavor and doesn't let up until the cinnamon spice pulls it back. The berries used have a very subdued sweetness on the finish. Mouthfeel is a little heavier due to the smoke, so the dry aspect of an Irish red is a little lost. Still, overall an excellent red that surprised me. Considering all the ingredients used, it's a very focused beer.

This particular combination of smokiness and cinnamon with the addition of the other non-standard ingredients/super foods makes for a unique Red that is very easy to drink.

Love the Irish reds!! Great smokey after taste. Also has a hint of cinnamon that goes with the smokey flavor. Great Bbq beer.

I tried the Beer Attack at a party in Santa Monica. It has a nice Red color with a hint of cinnamon. Very smooth and palatable - would recommend it to friends.
