On tap at local bar. First beer I've had from these guys and this was nice. Very clean, tons of tropical fruit and citrus. Good color and carbonation.

A: Poured from the growler into a Duvel tulip. Body is hazy lemony yellow with a small white head on top.

S: Good IPA nose - lemon & lemon peel with a touch of straw or hay. Hint of grapefruit as well.

T: First impression: it's "clean." Light crackery malt or straw foundation is followed by modest citrus, primarily lemon but with some grapefruit peel. Finishes clean, though with a bit of bitterness in the aftertaste.

M: On the lighter side of medium in heft. Carbonation is modest.

O: Good. Looks, drinks (and to some degree, tastes) like a Session IPA - though with the ABV at 7.2%, if you down a few of these like you would a Session IPA, there may be trouble.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a bright hazy yellow, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.

This smells like hay and straw and grassines- it's a very herbal thing going on in the aroma, with some lemon, grapefruit rind, and mango.

This has a really interesting and herbal bitterness to it, it dominates any fruity hop flavors, but they're still there- kind of light lemony, with grapefruit rind, and maybe very light tangerie and mango, possibly.

This is light bodied, and very crisp, with a good level of carbonation.

This is excellent, and a very unique take on the NE-style IPA.

Tap pour into tulip glass. Minimal head, no lacing. Nice overall flavor and and feel but it was not very carbonated and had a distinct light diacetyl lightly buttered popcorn aroma and flavor. Not sure if this was intentional or if the beer I had was a touch off. I would try again

The beer is a solid IPA that is slightly tart with a light bodied feel. I love my New England style IPAs but this was a nice change of pace. I'm hit or miss with Kent's IPAs but this one hit the mark, would like to drink more of it!
