Enjoyed this one on tap poured into a 16 oz. shaker glass. Just as hoppy and hazy as most of Kent Falls' IPA offerings without as much bite on the finish. These guys have nailed every style they've made so far.

Beer is a mater of personal taste. I'm going out on a limb with my rave reviews for this one. I have great respect for Kent Falls. I've liked several of their Brett's in the past - liked but definitely not loved. I've tried a number of their IPAs on tap only and found them to be good . . . muted and slightly in the direction of a sour . . . slightly. But this time they nailed it . . . for me.

The pour is aromatic. The color is pale and cloudy. The taste is muted like their other IPAs (granted this is an IPL), but a little more aggressive. There is still some of that typical Kent Falls sour yeast to chew on. It works so well. There is a little something metallic going on and you feel like you salivate in the back corners of your mouth. The quality of it is an A+. Regardless of whether you like slightly sour IPAs/IPLs or not, there is no denying that the balance of flavors, the carbonation etc. is exquisitely done.

Every time a new NEIPA pops up in Connecticut, I race out and buy a 4 pack. Some are decent but most just don't quite have the overall quality of a Treehouse or Trillium offering. They are good but a little "off" somehow. But "Maybe Both" screams of high quality. This is the first beer I've had from Kent Falls that made me put them right up at the top.

Poured to a Pilsner glass from a 16oz can dated 6/28/18.
Light yellow hazy with reasonable head.
Sweet orange smell, maybe tangerine like.
Pine taste is very powerful in the first sips. Very powerful. That gives way overtime to the sweet fruit.
There is a hint of the 7% ABV, but just a hint.
This four pack came tied together with a ridiculous paper carrier. I dropped one of the cans as soon as I picked it up in the store! I'm all for saving the planet and all but this thing is a piece of shit.

16 oz. can. Clear golden orange. Small white head. Smells of light citra hops. Some tropical fruit and the funkier side of citra hops. I guess it's what people call cat piss, though I've never had the pleasure of comparing. Some light maltiness behind it. Tastes citrusy. Bready malt without any sweetness. Back end has a little bit of dank hoppiness. Lightly bitter with a clean finish. Medium body. Wasn't enthused at first, but it grew on me.

Slightly hazy straw color with a nice, foamy off-white head with great retention and lacing. A little grassy on the nose, which obstructs some of the aromas of citrus, pine, and peach that are also present. Dry flavor profile. Biscuit malts, lots of bitter grapefruit rind and kumquat flavors. Refreshing, medium mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Reminds me a lot of some of the Jack's Abby offerings -- especially Mass Rising.

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge of the glass, and some specks of bubbles running down the sides of the glass. The beer becomes hazy as the remainder of the contents are pulled out from the can.
S: Moderate aromas of lime zest and papayas are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of citrus with notes of tropical fruits. There is a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very "juicy" with hardly any bitterness. It's like it would be a New England IPL if there was such a style.

8/16/2017-Had on tap at The Lark in East Northport, NY, pours hazy gold color with a small white head that faded slowly and left excellent lacing with rings as it went down. Looks like an IPA. Smell and flavor had citrus as the strongest aspect, with a nice mix of biscuit, toasted grains, orange peel, grapefruit, fresh cut grass and sweet malt. Nice balance that hides the ABV well and helped this go down easy. An enjoyable offering.

Toasted grain, pine, unripe mango and earthy noble hop grassiness. Definitely getting some Pilsner malt. Strikes a nice balance between classic noble and modern hops. Medium bodied. Could have done with a little bit less abv(7%). Still really good.

The initial bar pour is 3/4 foam. superbly lasting head which leaves solid rings after each sip. Minute spots and blankets in between.

Spicy grapefruit rind nose. Light pale malt in the background. Some pine.

Light pale malt start with a strong grapefruit juice finish. Lighter body with an ever so slightly increased carbonation. The finish is citrusy bitter with long aftertaste.

Pours a light gold with a medium white head. No real lacing here. Aroma is grassy and dewy. Some hints of citrus but nothing too strong. Taste is sweet - biscuity malts are present. Feel is about average carbonation semi-dry finish. Overall, it's decent if you like the style. Nothing out of the ordinary though.
