Bought a can at the Beer Shop in East Longmeadow, MA. Beer pours with a jet black appearance and a head that disappears very quickly. Incredible aromas of very sharp black coffee. The taste follows the nose with a milky flavoring but it still has this sharp black coffee taste. Very silky and smooth mouthfeel. Overall, this is a fantastic coffee stout.

16oz can. Pours a dark brown with almost no head. Good amount of lacing. The aroma is sweet milk, roasted malts, coffee, earth and a hint of caramel. The taste is a big swig if coffee followed by chocolate milk. Roasted malts, earth and more coffee towards the end with a sweet finish. Light to medium body with low carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Mild alcohol presence. Solid beer.

$ 9.56 (including tax)/16.9 oz bottle ($ 0.566/oz) at Warehouse Wines and Liquors, Danbury, CT
Undated bottle at 42 degrees into a hand washed and dried JK snifter
Aroma – coffee
Head – large (Maximum five cm, aggressive pour), light brown, fizzy/frothy, rapidly diminishing to irregular one to three mm ring and thin partial layer
Lacing – none
Body – dark brown/black, opaque
Flavor – sour, sour, sour. Hint of coffee; no hops, no malt, no alcohol, no diacetyl (unfortunately)
Palate light to medium, watery, flat
A nasty piece of work. While I like sours, one based on coffee is cruel and unusual punishment. Good morning drain!
Appearance 3.5, Aroma 3.5, Flavor 2, Palate 2.5, Overall 2.5

On tap at The Ruck in Troy, NY.
This one pours a nice very dark brown, essentially black, with a tight half inch head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells like rich and sweet iced coffee, with cream and sugar, with chocolate and just a hint of roast.
This has a lot of tasty sweet coffee to taste, with vanilla cream, sweet milk chocolate, and just a hint of roasted malt.
This is super creamy, with a nice level of carbonation, lower but still there.
This is a super drinkable coffee milk stout. Kent Falls continues to impress with just about every style I've had from them.

Body like the dark roast coffee that dominates the aroma and taste profile. Some lactic sweetness mixes nicely with the coffee grounds, roasted malt and bitter chocolate flavors. Not as sweet as you would expect mostly due to the bitter, earthy coffee taste that reigns supreme. Great beer regardless.

On tap served in a nonic pint.
a: Shinny black body with an egg shell 1 1/2 finger creamy head. (others have said it is dark brown. In the bar it looked balck)
s: Coffee, roasted malts and a bit of sweetness.
t: A wonderful balance of roasted malts, coffee and lactose. I am not sure what hops they used in this beer but there is a presence.
mf: A well balanced lighter bodied stout. Drinkable but not watery. All the falvors meld beautifully. Extremely well done. I am not a huge fan of milk stouts but this is my favorite of the style.

Very good beer overall, I especially enjoy the fact that there is no astringent, lingering finish as one can get with other coffee beers. However due to the 500 ml format/price I will be hesitant to purchase again in the future.
