"Orangey" color that is not completely see-through with a nice big head and some carbonation. Smell of oranges, grapefruits, pineapple, mangoes quite fruity and nice. You gate a nice orange taste upfront with some bitterness in the back with a dryness and some alcohol warming too. Not bad at all!

Smell of citrus, pine and caramelized malts. Taste of grapefruit, orange peels. Hint of pine resin and caramel. Lack of flavors despite all the hops used. High abv is well-hidden. Very bitter and dry finish. Long bitterness dominated by citrus.

Had on tap at Vices and Versa after a very long day of walking in the freezing cold.

Big creamy thick 1.5 finger head fades slowly with nice lacing, hazy amber reddish orange color.

Nose candied orange peel, citrus, zest, mild tropical notes, big reddish candy malts, mild sweetness and some alcohol, caramel and toffee, earthy spicy hop notes.

Taste starts with sweet malts, caramel and toffee, with semi thick malt base, mild alcohol warmth. Big hops too, earthy and spicy mostly, chewy hops, with tons of bitterness, rindy with little orange peel and citrus notes. Finish is very bitter and a bit astringent despite the big malty sweetness and sticky feel, little earthy pine note, and more candied orange zest.

Mouth is big bodied, touch creamy, nice carb, some warming booze.

Overall interesting, but not as great as it seems. Nice malt and hop profiles but it's like two big mountains of flavors that have a big valley in the middle and don't blend as well to be a solid mass.
