Fort Hill Brewery was established in 2013 in Easthampton, MA by a small group of friends who like to brew. Our goal is to provide the Pioneer Valley region with the best traditional German-style lager beer for a clean, refreshing taste you'll always come back to.

Things I love about this place: 1 inviting tap room and veranda. 2: There was a western swing band playing on an elevated stage the day I went. 3: service was great even though they were slammed. If this place was just a bar and could serve other stuff, I could potentially give it a straight 5, but as brewery, the beer needs some work to make it a top destination for me. As another review said, they brew mostly German and Central European style lagers and pilsners and their beers are decent attempts in the style, but fall short of their European inspirations. I would definitely go back for the music and enjoy a few beers there, but probably wouldn't buy any beer to go.

Fort Hill is THE secret gem of New England brewing. The tasting area is a rustic, farmhouse-style room with a view of the brewing area, which is well lit and imacculately clean. There are outdoor seating options with an open view of Mt. Tom. It is also located just minutes from a rail trail, so you can bike in from Easthampton, Northampton, Holyoke, Amherst, and the surrounding areas.
The most important part is the beer. The IPA selection exceeds most regional "New England IPAs" in quality at 2/3 the price. They also offer an extensive variety of lagers ranging from Bocks, Marzens, Stouts and Rouchbeers. Easily my favorite brewery around these parts.

Was in the area, and this place was recommended by some patrons at Abandoned Building brewery, which is right down the road - speaking of which, This brewery, Abandoned Building, and New City brewery are within a few miles of each other, so this area is already worth a visit.
Fort hill looks and feels like a brewery set up in a big barn, but the place is very well set up, big bar, big outdoor patio, lots and lots of space inside - and a big selection of beer. You'll definitely find something you like here.

A multi-million dollar brewing/imbibing facility constructed from the ground up several years ago, The bar/seating area was recently expanded. to about double its size Live entertainment at the end of the week/weekend,. Originally specialized in German styles but became even more popular once the focus turned to IPAs. Full lineup includes many exceptional brews. Known for great value when their sixpacks of cans are purchased in stores, but the draft bar is always worth a visit.

Beautiful golden color. Drinks with ease. Fort Hill has outdone themselves with this beer. Double Paw is also a great DIPA.

Nice place and atmosphere with a decent selection of mostly German lagers. The beers are solid, yet uneventful. I love German beers and these just taste like American versions without that traditional, German taste. Again, the beer is not bad at all, just mediocre. Very friendly folks and they had a food wagon and live music when I went.

Love this place. Nice rural location, plenty of parking, new large rustic building with seating inside and out, quick friendly service and good sized free samples - all of which are quite good!

Went here for my birthday. Fort Hill is located down Fort Hill road in Easthampton. The facility is a large barn-like building with a ton of parking. When you enter, there are spaces to drink outside, such as chairs and tables. Entering into the facility there are a few bar tables, but it seemed like a lot of standing room only. The place was hopping since it was Saturday night and a live band was performing. Even with the large crowd, the service was able to spot me and serve me.
Customers can get anything from samples to their Fort Hill growlers at this place. I had the Doppelbock and the King Mark for my evening. Selection-wise, they seemed to have plenty of their Fort Hill brews to go around for customers.
Overall, if I was a local, this would be a festive place to hang out at. It was fun and loud with plenty of Fort Hill brews to go around.

Shiny new brewery in beautiful red barn with rustic wood tasting room. Small service bar and counter seating. Only 5 or 6 beers on tap (very new) solid lagers, but not my thing.
