Hazy dark golden color with off-white head. Aroma has tart fruits, slightly fermented with some farmhouse notes. Taste follows with the tart fruits, mineral notes, really dry. Light body, low carbonation. Overall it's a good tart session ale with nice fruit flavors.

Nucleated Tulip
Look: Hazy amber color body, light tan head pouring 1 finger, with a silky, fluffy texture. Dissipated into a very thin cap
Smell: Hint funky. Traditional sour smell. I get some stone fruit, grass, toasted malt and red wine vinegar
Taste: Slightly tart. Up front I get some red wine vinegar saltiness, stone fruit, wet grass, doughy malt.
Feel: Moderate carbonation, light mouthfeel. Slightly crisp.
Overall: Its alright, very interesting

Canned 3/2/21
This is one of those beers (ok, the whole series) that I always see on the shelves but ultimately pass on due to the price. However, a buddy of mine had one, I believe apricot, that he gave me a small pour of from his can and it was quite good. Plus, this one wasn’t bad at $3 for a single, though it is very low in abv
Pours a cloudy red tinted amber with 2 fingers of off white head that slowly fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing
Wow, the lacto in here really does a lot in terms of a funky nose despite the super low abv. I’m picking up on aromas of wet hay, funky leather, tart lemon, red wine vinegar, light pepper, and crackery malt
This is definitely more fruit forward than funk forward in taste, but there’s still a nice balance of both. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting lemon zest, doughy malt, black cherry, and smooth oak. The swallow brings notes of sharp oak, vinegar, white grape, apple skin, lemon zest, and bready malt
A light medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a crisp and tart beer. Finishes dry with a nice balance
This is surprisingly good, and for the abv quite complex. It looks like I’ll have to keep trying more of this series

Massive head, had to quickly slow down the pour, fluffy and airy, tan color, for as deep as it started sizzles off steadily. Dark amber colored liquid with a pinkish cast, translucent, multiple streams of effervescence. Pleasingly vinous sourness to the nose, lemon juice, raspberry to red cherry fruit scents, tea leaf, not a lot of lift, more so latches on. Medium-bodied, refreshing and acidic. Tiny prickle from the carbonation, lasts start to finish. Very similar profile here, sweet and sour red fruits, very sour citrus, vinegar. Maybe some biscuit or scone. Minerally. Finishes quite cleanly. Would be hard pressed to call it complex but it covers the bases and enjoyable, certainly fits its billing as a sessions our. (Canned 4/28/20)

16oz. can into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter.
Nose is raspberry, light vinegar, cherry and a light woodiness. Mellow but pleasant. Beer opens vinegar, tart cherry puree, a light rotting wood and a red fruit seediness. Weird. Not fruit forward, just funky and lightly tart. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and foamy on the palate and goes down puckering with a long, lingering aftertaste.
The flavor here is all muddled and I don't really know what to make of it.

A thanks to the reigning champion of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a pinkish/rust color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is sour, funky, some cherries. Taste is tart, strawberry, cherries, lemons, extremely dry. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Only sour I've really loved. A bit jarring at first sip, but once you get used to it, it's a great, refreshing, hot weather drink. It's hard to find a 3% beer that's even slightly potable, but this is a rare exception.
