Just in time for the heat, the brewing prowess of Boomjum hits the summer circuit with a refreshing, rounded, soft and tangy ale that delights the palate with apricot and orange and then is soothing with the creaminess of wheat.

Pale and hazy golden amber, the beer shows off its orange hues underneath a firm and frothy cap. Radiant aromas of stone fruit and citrus ride high onto the nose with the softer undertow of bread, grain and slight yeasty funk gliding gently below. Sweet and bready on the early palate, the pillowy wheaten malts offer a creamy, nearly vanilla-like taste with hints of honey and angel food cake ebbing and flowing.

The wheat relaxes slightly as the ale rolls across the middle palate. But the emboldened taste of fruit brightens the palate and brings a crisp, brisk acidity with the unmistakable zing of apricot and oranges with impressions of mango and peach coming to mind. Light pepper, acidity and a pleasant citrusy hop offset is accompanied by a faint grassiness of parsley and mint.

Medium bodied while trending dry and racy, the wheat malt is persistent in keeping the session creamy, lush and playfully doughy. In contrast the fruit acidity, light alcohol and hop spice provides the late palate with a refreshing and highly drinkable mouthfeel that lingers briefly with fruit rinds and herbal lemon verbena.
