This is an interesting place and my review will likely be all over the place. It is in a great location as far as proximity to many neighborhoods, which is great for convenience but terrible for how busy it gets. It also gets a vast majority of BMC and hard liquor customers, just due to its popularity.

The quality of the beer I get here is hit or miss. I pretty much have stopped buying IPAs here because they often are skunked and/or not fresh. However, this does not deter me from getting other styles here, as I generally don't have an issue. This is especially true with beer out of their beer cellar.

The service is also hit or miss. The majority of people that work here know nothing about craft beer, but they always have at least one person that is knowledgeable.

The selection is where Green's shines. They have a great beer cellar with many great beers, often vintage beers. They'll often have Cantillon, Drie Fonteinen, Fantome, among others. They get pretty much every limited release and hold on to them longer than pretty much every place in town. They also have a huge selection of domestic craft beers.

I come to this place often, but it's certainly not due to how they handle their beer, their establishment, or their customers. The selection is great, everything is is sub-par.

Huge store that looks kind of ghetto from the outside but I was very impressed with their HUGE selection of craft beers and their huge bomber selection. Staff was not very friendly. Not at all actually. But I would return if nothing but for their selection only.

This is a place I avoided (not great neighborhood or people) until I realized they had a large walkin cooler in the back with tons of single beer selections. The sour selection is the best I have found in Atlanta. But not just sours, basically a very large and diverse selection of quality beers. They have an ipad set up in the cooler with BA open to look up new or unfamiliar beers. Prices are quite good also. I actually drive all the way downtown (45 minutes) just to get beer here.

I live OTP Atlanta and don't get into town all that often, but when I do, I always try to hit Green's. It doesn't hurt that it's right across the street from one of my favorite fast food joints (Chipotle). The selection is outstanding with a lot of cooler space. There's a large walk-in cooler in the back with a lot of good stouts, Belgian, and sours. I've never had much interaction with the staff, so I'm not sure how knowledgeable they are. They don't do singles or mix-a-six. I don't get there often enough to catch any special releases. The only negative is they charge a higher price for using a credit card, which I thought was illegal, but somehow they get away with it.

Atmosphere is a bit ghetto as it sits next to a Kroger once penned "Murder Kroger" because of transients. Service was semi knowledgeable but pleasant. The selection and price are great and that makes it more than worth the trip. It's also a reasonable convenient location, which helps. No food.
