I finally tried this local NC brew.....after seeing it on the shelf the past few visits to the store. I am glad I did. Beautiful aroma, heavy on the fruitiness, and a taste that is even better. This Will become a new "every day IPA" for me!

I got a can of this beer from my bestie. It poured a hazy yellow with white head that is leaving some lace. the scent had dank fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit peel presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

Light orange beer with a tall, sticky, dense head. Smells like a glass of OJ with a hint of pine. Lightly sweet with a lot of orange and grapefruit. Not as sweet as it smells. Nice piney, bitter finish. Pretty solid beer.

A: Pours a very hazy pale to medium golden orange in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + pale golden yellow + straw yellow + lemon yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a small patch of very thin film surrounded by a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of juicy citrus/orange, citrus/grapefruit, and citrus/tangerine hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + oat + grainy malts with a hint of grainy sweetness.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + oat + grainy malts with a hint of grainy sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of juicy citrus/orange, citrus/grapefruit, and citrus/tangerine hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving a lingering citrus hop flavors.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly soft/fluffy mid-body with a light amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable and just about sessionable - a really enjoyable post-run beer on a warm early Spring evening.
