On tap at Arts and Crafts Beer Parlour, NYC.
Pours a cloudy pale golden color with a thin bubbly head.
The aroma opens earthy and with a light funk. This is followed by aromas of melon, cantaloupe and honeydew. A dry crackery malt aroma is in the background. Soon, a vinous aroma with notes of white grape, green apples and tartness dominates.
The taste opens fruity with notes of melon .As with the aroma, tartness sets in, especially in the finish. Notes of citrus, lemon, orange peel, white grape and a dry white wine vinous quality. Estery and hops flavors yield notes of berries, melon and citrus. The peppery phenols are dialed in quite nicely amidst a dry cracker malt profile.
Light to medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. A strong but controlled carbonation is on par. Nicely balanced between its fruitiness, dryness and tartness. The finish is dry and with a light bitterness. The tartness is just about right, not too mouth puckering.
Overall I thought this was a damn tasty Saison that deserves higher ratings.

Poured from a half-liter bottle into a Teku glass.
A: Mostly clear glowing yellow with light effervescence.
S: Smells sweet with a touch of tart funk.
T/M: This light acidity carries over to the palette. A pleasantly fresh and grainy saison with fruity-yuzu notes in the background. Rather brief, metallic. Both sweet and round and crisp and dry, by turns.
O: I like it, but I don't love it. Would drink again, but not buy.

Mid sized bottle purchased at the outpost location...no dating info that I can find.

Pours hazed lighter amber, medium haze, lifts a regal looking and lasting cap.

Melons, phenols and light pepper on the nose.

Tasty saison, with more melon, more soft ripe fruits, light spicing...delicious, complex and well crafted...final pour adds the nutty yeasty goodness....well worth a try

A: Clear yellow body, lacking head, which I guess is typical for a farmhouse Saison.
S: Some subtle fruity scents.
T: The taste was very different from other Saisons I have tried, mainly because it was not as carbonated, but more of a dry taste, I must admit I enjoyed this difference from the norm. Fruity notes with an underlying sweetness.
F: Somewhat thin and not as complex, but again a nice difference from the norm.
O: Gave it a higher rating than others, but I did not think it was as good as other Saisons I have had lately recently. I think the dryness was great, if they could add slightly a little more smell and flavor it would do wonders for the beer.

A: pours a mildy hazy (though well attenuated) straw yellow, with a soapy, two finger head, decent retention, and nice, varied; lacing
S: peppery, spicy, with a grassy hop aroma to boot, and a nice, medium-strength funk
T: clean, lightly herbal hop aroma, pepper notes and spicyness, definitely get the berry notes described
D: dry, with a nice juicy finish
O: not the worlds best beer, but a very good offering, an enjoyable experience.

On tap at Threes 1/30/16. Hazy golden pour with a thin head. Sweet smell. Taste is typical saison with hints of sweet melon and a clean, haylike finish.

On tap at Threes.

Cloudy yellowish pour with a few random bubbles on top. Candy sweetness in the nose, malts, grains, some herbal hop notes. Taste was sweet tarts, on top of a grainy malt base, some white grape notes. Light-medium body and decently drinkable, just didn't really fit the bill as a saison overall, and was too candyish for me.

A wonderful melon and cantaloupe flavors on this one. A touch of grainy and bready malt balances the beer out, but a really wonderful refreshing saison option that is welcome to NYC.

From 02/15/15 notes. On tap at the brewpub.

Grains, bready malts, sweet fruits, apples, bananas, and light spice. Medium body and moderate carbonation. My least favorite of the three I tried that day but good and would give it another shot. Reminds me to TH and SaisonHands...a good beer but with the other great beers they had, not something I'd get every time.

got a chance to try this alongside a few other threes brews at a pre-launch event. served from a pitcher into a wine glass. this one was my favorite of the 4 i tried.

poured an attractive cloudy honey yellow with a thin bubbly head that was gone quick leaving some sparse bubble islands on the surface. nose is on the sweet side with lots of rustic scents with a soft fruity bubblegum base. the taste is surprisingly earthy and lacking much of the seemingly heavy sweetness from the nose...this reminds me quite a bit of stillwater brews (which is a good thing since he kills it on saisons). actually kind of like a cellar door with different spicing...as the beer warmed the flavors really popped for me, super tasty!
