Poured from a 12 ounce can into a Shaker pint glass, "canned on" date 9-15-16.

APPEARANCE: pours a clear, pale yellow color with less than one-finger white head that slowly dissipated until a thin, broken layer of small bubbles remained, there is some lacing on the glass, medium carbonation.

SMELL: bread, honey, crackers and grass.

TASTE: initially sweet honey and bread then a pleasantly mild hop bite.

PALATE: medium body and carbonation.

OVERALL: this is a very good Czech Pilsner, I will be having this one again for sure and would recommend to anyone who enjoys the style.

12 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 2/14/2017. Pours slightly hazy pale golden/straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. A bit fruity/yeasty, but not overwhelming. Taste of cracker, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance. Light-moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Touch of hop astringency near the end of the glass, but not overwhelming. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.1%. Overall this is a very nice Czech pilsener style! All around nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very well balanced and flavorful for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Poured from a can into a tall tap glass.

Pours straw gold and just slightly chill-hazed with an excellent two-fingered head and lacing.

The aromas are fairly pronounced for the style. Light sweet malts meet stout grain, cracker, grass, and floral notes.

The brew presents some fairly strong grainy notes on the tip of the tongue. Sweeter malts at the mid-palate manifest with crackery flavors, joined by grass and earth. Fairly grainy and bitter for the style.

The brew has a fuller body than is typical for the style, although it isn't heavy by any means. Well-carbonated, at least, it has a decent finish.

This brew is just "ok" for me, particularly when rated to style. It is pretty drinkable, and doesn't shy away from delivering flavor, but it is somewhat harsh on the graininess.

Pours a clear light straw golden (Pilsner) color. Decent carbonation and small head and lacing that linger. Smell is slight crackery and spicy floral hops. Taste is crisp, light cracker malts, and hop forward, almost a perfect compromise between Czech and German styles. Great Pilsner malt presence, with the right level of bittering balance. This beer is as good as a traditional Pilsner can be. Well done. This brewery puts out really well-made beers.

12oz can. 8/8/16 can date. Appearance: Pale straw yellow, some haze, low white foam head. Aroma: Bready Pilsner malt with a flowery hop aroma. Taste: Light bready malt sweetness, with a sharp, high floral and spicy bitterness Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a crisp, moderate carbonation. Finish: Very dry, with lingering spicy bitterness with a touch of pear coming thru retronasally Overall: A very light, crisp, easy drinking pils that would classify more towards a traditional German pils than a Czech. Well done

Pours extremely light yellow color with a tall, foamy head and good, sticky lacing.

The smell is grainy, bready, and earthy.

The taste is light and a bit thin. Some floral, very bright, and a little hoppy.

The mouthfeel is a bit thin and slightly fizzy.

Overall a bit short on flavor but very light and easy to drink.
