Served on tap at the JAX Seven Bridges location.

Golden yellow with a small but durable head. Very good lacing.

Light-medium body with medium carbonation. A bit thin for style.

Light aroma of lemon and bready malt.

Flavor: weak and earthy for style, but with a normal level of bitterness and hops in the finish and aftertaste.

Single finger head on a clear golden body with some lacing. Mild but classic malt and bready aroma. Taste is also fairly classic with mosty a slightly bitter malt and biscuity flavor. Light body and moderate to high carbonation. A standard pilsner, both refreshing and drinkable. Not bad for a usually fairly boring genre.

Very good overall beer, Right on the style

appearance: pale

smell: pleasant, loaded hops

taste: a prefect pilsner, reminded of a lot of the quality czech pilsners.

mouthfeel: good carbonation and very tasty

drinkability: very very easy and smooth. I was ultra impressed

southside pilsner
clear light golden, ring and cap with first glass, persistent one inch head on the second. scattered lace.
grassy nobles and plenty of fresh sweet pale malt for the nose. the finish is longish, with a grassy and almost lemon rind bitterness (but not lemongrassy).
light to med body with just-right carb, slightly ticles without being prickly. even a little creamy. not quite as crisp/refreshing as some might prefer.
this is a great session pils, nothing really negative about it at all. but unfortunately abv is actually 5% not 4%.

Poured form tap into pint glass.

Appearance- Golden, crystal-like appearnence, good carbonation.

Smell--malty with faint grains

Taste/Mouthfeel--surprising flavor! Nice balance of malts and hops, not complex, but well balanced. Excellent carbonation.

Drinkability--quite good

Notes--I tend to associate pilsners with macro-swill, which I need to get away from doing. This was a very pleasant surprise.
