Bottled 5/31/17. Drank 10/19/22
Pour is a golden yellow with a moderate cap of chalk white foam; good for a sour beer.
Nose is lemon zest, straw, hay, Brett, okay tannins, hint I’d cherry,
Taste follows. Lemon zest, straw, funky Brett, hint of cherries and ripe strawberries. Stone fruit. Moderate acidity, plays nicely and doesn’t make the 500ml beer impossible to drink alone.

Pours a somewhat hazy golden color with a thin carbonated head that quickly dissipates. There is no lacing. Has tart oaky aroma with some tannins and cherries. Very tart cherry taste. Maybe some raspberries. Oaky on the end with a tad bit of sourness. A good amount of acidity. Light bodied with heavy carbonation.

500ml bottle, 6.2.17 bottle date, poured into a Drie Fonteinen "3" wine glass. Enjoyed on 11.12.17, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a very bright golden color, clean and clear with a light chill haze and a fizzy finger of white head that offers little retention and no lace. The aroma is very good, plenty of well developed funk, soft and bretty with some fruity bugs and lots of earthy oak, pale grain, light peppercorn and a nice wildflower bouquet. The flavors are good, delicate with some white wine grape leading off that brings out some nice tartness, nice fruit profile with some soft oak, funky brett and some nice lactic sour bugs with a bit of pale grain and wildflower. The mouthfeel is good, coating, very vibrant and lively with a delicate and carbonated light body and a tart finish.
Verdict: A really good wild ale from Collective Brewing. Delicate, bright, complex, balanced, really nice expressions of wood and the cultures used to funk this beer up. Impressive first exposure to this brewery.

Bottled on 6/2/2017, so this is still being brewed and released on occasion. Already sent in an update to change the availability.
A: Pours with a slight chilled haze, that clears up after a bit. A one finger white head forms that recedes quickly. Though a small white collar sticks around. Not much lace to speak of.
S: A fruity and tart nose. With some stone fruit, pear, apple skins. Light oak, and a touch of vanilla. Subtle but very enjoyable.
T: Like the nose, lots of tart fruit flavors. Stone fruits, pear, apple skin. A nice acidic bite with a touch of oak and vanilla to counter the tart puckering.
M/O: A medium body that is very effervescent. Supper crisp, and smooth at the same time. Finishes semi dry. Really easy and enjoyable to drink. I'll have to look for this more often.
This is a really nice and subtle Wild Ale. The tart, acidic puckering bite is great and not over done. Something I would recommend.
