Also known as Tivoli Beer
With 150 years of brewing in Colorado, our roots run deep. Holding true to our German heritage, we continue to lager our beer while embracing modern techniques to enhance it. We painstakingly craft our beers over 42 days to bring out the true flavors of each recipe because we believe that beer has a soul. This Helles Lager is what started it all back in 1859, Its rich golden hue marks it as a true tribute to the original Munich style of lager.

L-Gold..ok clarity
S-Lightly floral...lemongrass perhaps......a bit unusual for the style
T-Light breads, some sour notes..nothing real traditional for a helles. Not real appealing
F-Light side of medium bodied
O-I'm sorry but this is not in the German Helles style. It drinks more like a middle of the road AAL made by a craft brewery. It's average at best as a beer my scores are per style.

12oz can stamped 04/16/20 (assuming canned on that date) poured into a becher glass at fridge temp 5.1% ABV 19 IBU. The beer pours bright light gold in color with off white head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles leaving a little lacing. The aroma is mild and clean with a little pale malt & pleasant yeast character. The taste is similar with two row malt and mild earthy, woody hop character. Minimal bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a dry finish. Cleanly lagered. Overall, good. Thanks @beergoot!

Can at Euclid Hall Bar & Kitchen, Denver, CO
A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that left a narrow collar of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of breads and cracker malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is rather malty with flavors of bready and cracker malts. There is just enough underlying hops to mask any malty sweetness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Helles Lager is nice and malty but is easy to drink because it's not sweet.

Pours a lightly foggy straw color with a finger and a half of white foam. Head retention is fair. Aroma is biscuity, doughy, bready, herbal hops with a sprinkling of lemongrass and herbal hops. Flavor profile follows the nose, with lemongrass, cracked black pepper, herbal hops and biscuity, doughy bread with a young, bready yeast quality at the back. Mouth feel is crisp with a resounding fizzy texture. It has a medium-thin consistency. Overall, fair throughout delivering a consistent, and tightly controlled beer. It's easy going.

Hmmmmm; found it in a six pack in 12 ounce cans @ a local liquor store. This here is what Dad drank 'way back in the 60's, when it wasn't anything other than just good ol' Tivoli Beer. Happy to have it back, too 'cause it's a pretty damn easy brew to quaff and savor and simply enjoy & I hope it doesn't disappear for 40 some odd years ever again.
