Brewed using the dry-hopped process, our latest addition to our family of craft beers is fragrant and hoppy with a clean, crisp finish. It’s a brew worth celebrating.

Appearance - Pours a clear gold straw colour with a half finger width of bubbly head.
Smell - Slight hops, grains, malts, a tad skunky.
Taste - Mild on the hops spectrum. Follows up with nice malt and grain flavour.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Has a bit of crispness to it.
Overall - A flavourful lager by Okanagan. I was a little turned off by the initial aroma (a little too skunky for my liking), but pleasantly surprised by the crisp flavours.

I don't believe that this is a one time brew, as I've seen it in the mixed packs for at a year or so, and the labeling states that it has been brewed since 2010...
A- This pours a clear, medium golden hued color and has ample ginger ale style carbonation...lots of it! The head is very impressive, starting out about two fingers thick, and being creamy snow white in color. It retains very well, down to about one finger in thickness and just like whipped cream in density. The lacing is also very good, with there being a decent amount of soapy film clinging to the side of the glass.
S- I find this to have a well balanced aroma profile overall. Right upfront my nose picked up plenty of fresh hop cones. Once I let the beer settle for a minute or so, I smelled it again and noticed that there is a great malty sweetness to counter the bitterness.
T- The flavors follow closely, with a malt sweetness immediately upfront, which is short lived, only to be overtaken with a pile of fresh hop bitterness. Beyond the main flavors, there are underlying hints of citrus zest and perhaps even a bit of yeasty bread, however mild it may be, I do taste it.
M- This is a clean, crisp lager, that remains consistent throughout the experience of the sample. It doesn't leave any real aftertastes, the carbonation remains plentiful and zippy, and the alcohol isn't noticeable in this lite bodied brew.
O- I've stated before that I'm not a hop-head, as I generally find these types of beer too strong in one flavor characteristic. With that said, I don't mind this one at all, and find that the more I have of it, the smoother and more balanced it becomes! While I think this is better suited to be a hot weather thirst quencher, it does the job even during the winter. I wouldn't go out of my way to get this again, but won't shy away from the mix pack because of it either....give this one a try!

I picked this one up as part of a mixed 12-pack. I've never seen it in stores in Alberta before, so I'm excited to see how it is. Not to mention that I love hoppy lagers as much as the next guy.
It pours a slightly golden pale lager colour. It's a nicer colour than the typical straw colour of many pale lagers. The head is nice and foamy, settling down over the beer in a nice layer.
The aroma is definitely hoppy, and slightly grainy. It's fairly standard on both counts though.
The flavour is very hoppy, to be sure! It starts out with some slightly tart hoppy aroma, and the malt character develops a little, finishing with some nice hop bitterness.
Overall, this is a nice departure from conventional pale lagers, but the hops don't really take it too far away from being average.

Golden yellow appearance with lots of foamy white head that slowly settles down leaving decent lacing. Smell consists of malt, hops, grain and some sweetness. Nothing powerful, but good clean.
Taste, as the title indicates, is dominated by hops. Picked up grass, grains, toffee and some malt as well. Fairly balanced and refreshing despite the hops. Medium bodied with high carbonation. Aftertaste is a bitter, spicy taste.
Overall, this is a decent pale ale. It is easy to drink but with a kick. If you’re a fan of hops, pick up a 6 pack of this.

Poured a 341-ml bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance - light gold appearance with thin but dense layer of hoppy foam to make a small head. Thicker toward the edges with a wide lace ring.
Smell - very light hop aroma mostly over a subtle sweet bready malt smell.
Taste - well-balanced malt flavours with a decent hop flavoured finish. Fairly crisp with little to no aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - this beer is smooth, no question about it, with a very even effect even with the hoppy finish. Nice balance.
Drinkability - easy to put away a few of these in a night, refreshing and flavourful. A nice beer.

341ml bottle, haven't had an OK Springs offering in a while...
This beer pours a clear pale golden hue, with two fingers of thin foamy white head, which leaves some volcanic rocky lace around the glass as it evenly settles. It smells of pale, grainy malt, somewhat sour lemon, and weedy, bitter hops. The taste is soft biscuit malt, tart, but stale, lemon, and more bitter, somewhat floral, and musty hops. The carbonation is moderate, the body kind of thin, and astringently metallic. It finishes dry, a bit chalky, with the earthy, bitter hops still carrying the day.
One hoppy lager, that much is certain. However, bitterness without balancing aromas and flavours gets tiring fairly quickly. No anniversary lovin' here.
