At Houston Airport Bam Bam near C4. Nice beer and menu selection here.
a) Slashy lace over a brassy slight hazed golden high carbonated body.
s) Aroma underweight vs flavor which is ample.
t) very resinous pine, with floral undercurrents of citrus, pineapple and grapefruit. Brass and bright.
f) Puckering astringent. Super lively carbonation. Cleansing and pleasing. Kissy.
o) First rate if you like them pine and dry.

I try IPAs all over and I was late finding this gem in my own backyard. I have had several favorites over the years including the Renegade IPA from the Estes Park Brewing, the Thunder IPA from the Pyramid Brewing Company, and I now make this my go to beer that you can always find in my frig at home.

Gotta admit up front, this beauty is my go to ipa. This review is based off getting the beer directly from the tap at Copperhead, but the cans are also awesome. The beer itself is a beautiful amber with a muted scent of citrus. The taste up front is heavily of citrus, almost like you're drinking straight up orange zest in liquid form. This transfoms into a familiar bitter back taste left by the hoppy dankness of the ipa. I would highly recommend this beer, and it's easily my favorite ipa at the moment.

Picked this up in Conroe, not far from the brewery. Bought it cause it was local but I BLOWN AWAY at the taste and feel. Excellent IPA!!

Nice with tacos. Not too hoppy or citrusy

Hands down, one of the better IPAs to come outta North H-Town area, in a bit. This brewery is close to Lone Pint, with their (now famous) Yellow Rose. Don't also forget Brash Brewing not to far in H-Town proper...Copperhead Breweing has hit the nail on the head, with this one.
This IPA has notes similar to Lagunitas IPA, Racer 5 and Green Flash's West Coast IPA. Great malt backbone, with big piney hops upfront, and a smooth, uncompromising finish, for 7% ABV.
Love this stuff...again, for the intro 6er price point, less than 8 bones, its the best on the market. They simpy need to send more to Austin :D

Pour is a clear golden orange, big frothy 2 finger width head that sticks around for a minute. Nice lacing. Pour is an equal amount of orange peel, lemon zest and pine blending well with a sweet malt backbone. Nice citrus pith in the taste, plenty of resinous pine and a sweet buscuit like malt in the back end. A little oily hop profile. Mouthfeel is fairly oily and palate coating, friendly amount of carbonation. Very solid!

Poured from tap into shaker, 1 finger cream color head recedes rather quickly. Dark yellow/orangish in the glass. Smells of malt, citrus and pineapple. Taste has a nice malt sweetness in the front, orange and pineapple in the middle with a mild bitter finish. Great mouthfeel, solid ipa

Pours a hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger width foamy head. Head retention and lacing are both very good. Good citrus aroma with a nice piney hop. Orange peel. Good citrus taste. Nice big piney hop. A little caramel at the end. Very astringent aftertaste. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. I will say that I didn't expect much from this brewery since they are new, but I was pleasantly surprised.

What a great introduction to Copperhead. The color is more on the orange than yellow side, but a yellow tinge comes through. It's hazy. The aroma is citrus heavy with a bit of pine. In my opinion, I detect mosaic. The taste is hoppy and sprightly from the citrus. Smooth and drinkable. Great job!
