This is a mid sized gourmet kinda food market, located in the western Williamsburg area of Brooklyn.
Expect a good selection of fresh veggies, cheeses, breads, meat and spices, sauces and other assorted groceries in wide variety. But you are shopping for beer and this is located mostly in one large refrigeration unit, towards the left rear side as you enter....the offer a better then decent, but not overwhelming impressive selection of the good stuff...seemingly the highlight here was load of tasty and fresh cans from locals Grimm....worth a visit for shelves full of quality food options as well as a worthy array of beer options....worth a visit if you are in the area....friendly staff is always a plus

Basically a grocery store with a very very good beer selection. The guy in charge of the aisle does know his stuff, so make sure to ask around if you have any questions. They do some of those "you have to buy something else to get this rare bottle" deals, but oh well.

It is hard to beat the selection.
Presumably, the best place to grab locals and rare bottles.
James was really knowledgeable and helpful.
I was just arrving in Brooklyn after 15 hours of flight. But it was a definitely worthy visit even I had to drive more.
Definitely great selection. A lot of cores and primes from each brewery. For example, bcbs, KBS, velvet merkin, alpine nelson, maine lunch. Bottles were all fresh.

It's seems to be a growing trend in NYC to stock your supermarket with craft beer. I am finding more and more all the time. This place has one of the larger beer inventories I've seen for a supermarket. Great selection, not the best I've seen but definitely worth returning to when seeking out hidden gems.

Vibe is not unpleasant but the store is a decently sized supermarket, so it's a bit hard to compare to other shops. Quality wise its hard to complain, the store is very clean, modern, and well lit. i have mixed feelings about the service. The staff is knowledgable and friendly enough, but can be a bit overbearing, blatantly pushing you to buy more beer and saying that many of their rarest beers, despite advertising the as being in stock, are only for loyal customers. The selection is undeniably outstanding. Lots of locals, rare beers, highly sought after foreign beers, and everything is fresh.

This is the best kept secret. Hands down the best selection I've ever seen. James is a Class Act.

This might be the best place in the city to get bottles.
If you're willing to brave the G train, you'll find this right off the broadway stop. The beer area isn't huge, but its all good quality. Ask for James, or just some general help with beer. They know a lot, are really friendly and are happy to drop what they're doing and talk beer for a while.
Also, they keep their beermenus.com account updated, which is all too rare around here.
If you're nearby or want five new bottles of some quality stuff, this is the place to go.
