750ml, white wax sealed swing-top bottle. Essentially a blend of Belgian witbier and West Coast American IPA.
This beer pours a hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with one finger of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly off-white head, which leaves some decent decaying iceberg profile lace around the glass as things evenly slip away.
It smells of fleshy orange and red grapefruit, bready and doughy caramel malt, buttered white toast, a hint of earthy yeastiness, ephemeral peppery spice, and more leafy, piney, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, a lesser wheaten sweetness, still heady mixed domestic citrus rind, gentle yeasty esters, mild earthy spice, and more piney, weedy, and slightly perfumed floral verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is quite low in its barely-palpable frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and mostly smooth, the predominantly citrusy hops and lack of yeast astringency contributing to that little eventuality. It finishes off-dry, the faintly buttery toasted maltiness lingering on among the remains of the citrusy, piney, and musty spice day.
Overall, this is an interesting, if not particularly winsome version of the style, the idea of taking two disparate established beer styles, and acting like you've re-invented the wheel, is the feeling I'm getting here. Definitely more San Diego (or Boise, sure) IPA than Low Countries wheat beer, with a well-integrated 14-proof alcohol measure. Not bad, but a tad overpriced - maybe lose the thoroughly useless, and sort of annoying to the opening process, wax job.

Pours hazy, light gold colour. .Ok quick receding head that keeps a thing ringed form. Flavor and aroma characteristics of tropical fruit and floral hops. Low carbonation with a dry, bitter finish that's not over powering. Watch out for that 7% alcohol volume. It hits if you're not paying attention. Small con: I could be wrong but It becomes a pilsner with a bitter taste. Still, overall enjoyable. Is 2020 over yet?

Good basic IPA. Not excessively hoppy. Hazy apricot under a short-lived head.
A bit of orange on the nose. Grapefruit pith to taste, sweet up front, bitter finish. Suitable as an intro to the style.

This is a dangerous beer. High alcohol that you can’t feel/taste. Pours hazy gold colour, but nowhere near as hazy as expected. Smell is boozy but taste is not. In fact, the higher alcohol content is hidden. The flavour is hoppy and bitter a bit but quite tasty anyways. I wasn’t excited about this beer to begin with but actually it was quite good.

Pours bright gold with a rocky, medium sized head. The aroma is of orange and lemon hops and cotton candy notes. Big orangey hop notes mix with fruity Belgian yeast esters and crisp wheat notes in the taste. Fruit loops in abundance. The mouthfeel is full bodied with creamy, high carbonation. Medium to light bitterness and lots of orange and sweet malt notes in the finish.
A nice Belgian IPA. Balanced and complex. Worth a try for sure.

Hazy and cloudy golden color with low activity. Slightly creamy and bubbly light beige 2 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with good legs but poor swirl reaction. Flavors of butter, caramel, pineapples, banana, wheat, barley, Belgian yeast, and herbal hops. Creamy and oily medium body with a moderate crisp. Medium strength finish, a bit tropical with a nice herbaceous effect. The IPA sensation is a tad faint but the balance is real good for a white IPA. Good freshness and pleasant to drink. Overall very good quality craft.

First White IPA by Mill Street -- interesting appearance and fruity flavour doesn't make up for the lack of body and non-existent aftertaste.

750 ml was sealed swing top bottle purchased from the lobo for around $8 CDN. Served cold into a Mill Street pint glass.
Appearance - hazy golden color, leaning more towards yellow than Amber. Impressive two fingers of bright white head, with good retention and lots of splotchy lacing.
Smell - earthy with some citrus and element of honey and possibly even some smoke. Orange and grapefruit makes up the basis for the citrus with a touch of lychee fruit thrown in.
Taste - fairly bitter with overripe cantaloupe and lychee playing starring roles and some subtle grapefruit in the backing. Flavors don't quite fit together. Honey mixed in with some leafy and spiced hop like flavors.
Mouthfeel - smooth, medium bodied but maybe a little cloying and dense. Sticky as well.
Overall - rodeo monk is initially and interesting concept, but I think it strays a little far from what an IPA can be to invigorate all my senses. Still a reasonable effort and not the worst value. Worth a try but I'm only buying one.

750 mL wax-sealed swing-top bottle from the LCBO; dated Feb 24 2017 and served slightly chilled.
This gently hazed white IPA is golden-blonde in colour, with an intentionally aggressive pour barely generating a full centimetre of foamy white head. Retention is poor; it melts away within 90 seconds or so, resulting in a patchy, soapy film and a modest ring of froth around the perimeter of the surface. Underwhelming from a visual standpoint, particularly given the usual brilliant appearance of this style - and unfortunately, the aroma is not really my cup of tea either. There's a yeasty, stinky-feet funkiness to the nose, as well as some coarse, wheaty grains, honey sweetness, and muddled orange citrus, with hints of grassy, leafy, vaguely floral hops.
It tastes alright, but I'd be lying if I said I was genuinely impressed with this beer. Grainy wheat malts are a constant fixture in the background, amidst flitting, fruity notes of apricot, red apple skin, orange and grapefruit. The flavour profile becomes both yeastier and hoppier in the latter half of the sip, with grassy, floral notes and an earthy bitterness, as well as a slight hint of bandage adhesive in the aftertaste. Light-medium body, with fairly mild carbonation that meekly agitates the surface of the tongue. Disappointing.
Final Grade: 3.28, a mediocre C+. I had heard that the original version of Rodeo Monk (from the Ottawa brew pub) was pretty solid... but something must've gone awry when they scaled production up, because this batch just isn't very enjoyable. Mill Street needs to start focusing on their area of expertise - gateway craft beers - as their "premium" priced offerings simply do not match up well with the competition. This bottle was categorically not worth the $9-10 price tag, and it's honestly one of the weakest Mill Street seasonals I've tried in quite a while. Oh well, at least I can use the swing-top bottle for homebrew.
