Went here back in July with family who live up in Toronto. Relaxed atmosphere, very open environment with fermentation tanks, mash tuns, etc. visible from areas of the dining room.
Bar had an accommodating number of stools, the retail shop's selection of gifts and sampling of beers was impressive.
Ordered an IPA which I enjoyed. Tasted a bit English and lacked the West Coast punch that a Californian has come to expect.
Food was fair, nothing special but a decent selection of choices.
I'd certainly make a return visit if I'm in the area again.

Located in the Distillery District in Toronto, this place sells beer in cans, flights, and pints. The bar features up to 10 taps (9 available today).
The vibe is mellow with friendly bartenders. One can get swag and mixed half cases.
There’s a restaurant/bar area out back but there’s also a large sign that says no entry.

Sprawling place in the distillary districr, the original Mill Street. Has now become a chain and is owned by Labbats. Still, the atmosphere is good, the beer acceptable if not distinguished and the food and service both good.

As plenty of others have mentioned, this place is in the middle of the Distillery District, which is kitschy as kitschy can be - especially if you happen to visit during the Christmas market, which my girlfriend and I did. This means Mill St. tends to be crowded, and that crowd tends to be raucous - even on a Thursday evening. If you're looking for somewhere relatively quiet, this is not for you. Service seems to be hit or miss - our experience seated indoors was subpar, while our experience at the outdoor bar was good. The food is a bit pricey, and is not quite up to the standards one might expect for the price point.
Regarding the beer, this is not a brewery that caters to the hophead crowd - which means that I rather enjoyed their beers. There was an assortment of lagers and porters, most of which were all right, a couple of which were rather tasty. I'd return on my next stop in Toronto, but just to have a beer or three.

Mill Street can be found amidst the very touristy Distillery District, an interesting block of early 20th Century building that have been converted to stores, shops, galleries and eateries, of which Mill Street is one. It is very busy, loud and raucous. Maybe you'll get served and maybe you will not. My first attempt was at the indoor bar, where I just got stares from the bartenders. After 15 minutes of watching others drink beer, I went out to the patio bar and all was well. If you can endure the noise, the buzz and the chain atmosphere, you can enjoy yourself with decent beer and hearty grub. While I do not see myself going here again, I would seek out heir beer.

Stopped in for a beer and bite. Wanted to try a brew house looking for something off the radar. Didn't find much here.
Same offering as the LCBO and The Beer Store. WAY expensive food and beer. Not much flavor and it's pretty much a crush you in and turn the seats over ASAP and you get that feeling
Not for me again.
