dude's review below is accurate. thick, rich, needs water to hydrate the mix.... coincidentally, his review was exactly two years ago but they certainly did not change their recipe... much.... oh well. it's drinkable, but not very enjoyable... Offshoot and Bruery are doing wonderful things with high-abv IPAs. amazing results! i'm just not very impressed with this one, but trying to be 'kind', right?

Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop in Phoenix 9-12-19 for $5.99. No canning date but was just received; consumed on 11-11-19.
Beer poured a murky golden orange with an okay head that dissipated quickly.
Nose is a nice combination of orange and mango.
Taste is orange and mango forward over a medium malt base. Finishes with a lightly pulpy bitterness; 5/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is heavy, somewhat smooth but it does not match the style.
Overall this is a pretty good brew that i am glad to have tried but would not purchase again given the quality vs price point.

I was really looking forward to finally trying a beer from these guys. I had seen the hype that they were getting from local Facebook groups so I was anticipating good things. Unfortunately, the Hype is NOT Real. This was a very poorly executed attempt on the style.
Not very pleasing to look at. The haze was there but the color was very off putting. It was a brownish gold and was not at all pleasing to the eyes.
The nose was weak. For a hoppy beer, I was expecting a very nice bouquet. Although it was not displeasing, it was definitely not pleasing either.
Sweet sweet sweet. This thing will give you the diabetus! With no balance whatsoever, I could not get through the bottle. Yes, with this style of beer you want it to be juicy. But this tasted like someone didn't add enough water to the orange juice concentrate. Not good.
The mouthfeel was the highlight of this beer and it wasn't even a positive highlight. It was very syrupy and it coated your mouth. With such a displeasing taste, that last thing you want is for this beer to coat your mouth.
Overall, very disappointing. It seems like this beer was not finely tuned and was just rushed to market in order to take advantage of the haze craze. That seems to be happening a lot. Cheers!
