1st IPA of my life. Can design got me...I admit it. Actually enjoyed this after the initial hoppy shock gulp. Bought another 4 pack to share with buddies...

This is a good very hazy and fruity New England IPA, but maybe a little bit too much like fruit juice. But it is thirst quenching.

Look: very hazy apple juice color (dark beige to golden) with a thin white head

Aroma: tropical fruits, grapefruit

Flavor: Tropical fruit, mango, orange, pineapple, and grapefruit with a grapefruity bitterness at the end.

Feel: light to medium, thirst quenching

No canned date, though I assume no older than a month at best

Appearance - Pours opaque and dirty orange in color with no head; what's there is a small island of suds and a thin ring around the edge of the glass.

Smell - Juicy, tropical goodness. Orange, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, passionfruit and maybe even a bit of lime?

Taste - Follows the nose, though with a flat, lifeless delivery. Orange, mango, passionfruit, grapefruit and a decent amount of pineapple make up the taste. Not much else to add.

Mouthfeel - As said in the flavor, the carbonation is dead. Medium-bodied, but flat from start to finish. It would seem to be a smooth, drinkable brew with a semi-dry finish with carbonated properly, but I'd hate to project.

Overall - Like Ice_Cream_And_IPAs said, this is seriously flat. I assumed I'd gotten a can that wasn't well sealed, but with the only other reviewer finding an also flat product, I'm guessing it's a brewing / canning issue rather than this individual can itself. A shame because not only is it a dope ass label but the juicy, tropical flavor is there. It's what you might expect if you left it sitting overnight and drank the rest in the morning. Not terrible in the least, but flat. With proper carbonation this would be like a 4.2?

Very murky, bright yellow body; practically no head and no lacing. Smell is mostly bitter citrus notes, like grapefruit zest — Galaxy hops are apparent. Taste follows the nose with an intense dose of standard Galaxy flavors. Not too oaty, which is a good thing for LCB. Medium to full body and the alcohol is well hidden.

This beer has a carbonation issue that brings it down somewhat. Really, it was canned flat. Both feel and taste suffer because of it. Were it not for the carbonation issue, this would have been an even better find for the Galaxy fans.
