The colour is gold-amber, the liquid is clear. The finger thick head leaves lo lacing while sinking down to a thin lid.
The smell is sweet with notes of wet paper, honey and exotic fruits. Oily hints of paint and grease. Some bitterness and citric notes, mostly grapefruits.
The taste is semi-bitter and fruity. Distinct notes of bitter oranges and peaches. Passing notes of wet oil paint. Growing sweet candy-like notes with quite a lot of toffee. Medium body. The aftertaste is smooth with toffee and caramel, sweet orange candy and a light somewhat chemical bitterness. The finish is semi-sweet and neutral.
The carbonation is strong, the small bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is light.
Better than the Red Ale, but there are still some off-flavours going on here.
