If you like hop aroma, flavor, and a clean – crisp – balanced bitterness, you will love this beer. Our special double dry hopping regime takes place in the aging tank as well as the serving tank. Simcoe and Amarillo hops render incredible floral and citrus aromas. Special English floor malted barley provides the backbone necessary to round out this fruity, unfiltered, session-like IPA.

i like an ipa that is unfiltered instead of intentionally hazy and packed with starch and sediment, this is a lost art these days, and while this drinks a little old school and malty, and also has a lot of good decisions manifest in it, and i enjoyed my pint. definitely a little cloudy from the tap, average white head on it, maybe a tad dull but with good carbonation evident too. it smells solid, balanced, almost more like a pale ale in some ways, sturdy malt base here, english to me, bready and toasted, pleasant and grounding, needed against the big simcoe hop profile both in nose and taste, bitter grapefruit and vegetal matter and minerals all there, pretty high alpha but not overly aggressive either, right to the line but not over it. the fermentation isnt amazing here, this could be drier and cleaner, its short of soapy but there is some of that as it sits, a little metallic sharpness too which sort of degrades this a little for me, but i like the nuts and bolts and think its quite drinkable either way. more orange and cut flowers as it warms too though, so no rush. good not great pint of ipa here, malt profile is appreciably important.

On tap at the brewrey. Pours a slightly hazy dark gold with a thin off-white head. Initial impression is citrus, pine, and a touch of sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium, bordering on chewy. Finish is somewhat bitter, with resinous notes emerging. Overall, a very enjoyable IPA - my first from this brewery.

This is one of the flagship beers of the Brewhouse, always a good selection and tasty.

Modest head which settles to rim bubbles. Plenty of tiny spots on the glass. Hazy, dark gold color
Floral hop dominates the toasted crystal malt.
The pale malt base is complicated with a good dose of toasted sweeter malt. The hop is stronger but shows up mainly during and after the swallow. The aftertaste is a pleasant blend of both main elements.
