Fresh from can less than 10 days old, this was an extraordinary American IPA shared with a friend. One of the best I've had. Orange opaque with a minimum head.

Canned on 1/21/20.

A - Medium golden tan color that's totally opaque in color. Lacing is thin white.

S - Citrus and fruity on the nose.

T - Fruit, earthy spicy fruit rind, melon, overall juicy and pithy.

M - Big medium body that's very dry on the back of the palate while juicy on the tip of the tongue.

O - This is fantastic and coming to you highly recommended. Easy drinking and wish I bought far more of these cans. Seek it out.

16oz. can served in my Spiegelau ale glass. Pours a milky orange with a tight, 1/8th inch, cream-colored head embedded with pinpricks. Delicate swaths of lacing are revealed during the tasting. Nose expresses melon, tropical fruit, citrus and pith. Taste consistent with nose, albeit more muted. There's also a a light, biscuit malt character that comes out towards the middle and finishes with a mild herbal/medicinal bitterness that lingers between quaffs. Mouthfeel is light in body with a mild, even carbonation. Overall, nice complexity and easy drinking. A solid example of the style.

Canned on 11/15/17, this took a while for me to get to and was the first beer from Tilted Barn that I was able to review here at the house. I had samples of a few of their offerings while in line at Other Half and I was so impressed with their offerings that I wanted to have few here to enjoy for myself. Thankfully, this lived up to that hype as it was so smooth, tasty, and enjoyable while being the slightest bit rustic at the same time!

Nice pour to this as the liquid was turbid, murky, and off-gold - all at once. Plenty of head to top this off as the lacing wasn't great but there was enough as the collar held most of it with hints of thin rings around the center of my pint glass. Lovely aroma to this with lots of tons of deep citrus, chalky lime, prickly cactus, deep tropical fruits, and lively wheat to the nose as all of those burst forth in the taste. Tons of tangerine juice, lime pith, bright orange, and southwestern bite came through in the taste as this was as bright and lovely as any New England IPA that I've ever had. Such a range of fruit flavors here but this wasn't overly dank as the malt was solid, but basic, with the Southern Hemisphere hops smoothing and evening everything out. Ripe guava emerged in the aftertaste with some deep, overripe apricot and an underlying earthiness and white chocolate sweetness that tied everything in together.

Not a lot of booze here and with so much going on it, it would be nearly impossible to notice any heft that this beer had. A mild, deep earthy tang remained on my teeth and palate once this went down as that was a reminder of how slick and pungent this beer was. If you like your IPA's to be flavorful, earthy, and long-lasting, you've found your match here. Really impressed with this one as it not only held up well over time, but had me wanting to crack the rest of the Tilted Barn's in my stash ASAP. Wonderful stuff worthy of all it's accolades on here!

Tried this one multiple times, but this is my first review...

Canned on 7/24/19

Pours a turbid golden yellow hue capped with a few fingers of fluffy white head; great retention recedes bit by bit until a frothy collar and thin smattering of soapy strands of lacing remain.

Aromas of exceptionally detailed tropical fruits, noticeably prickly papaya, mango, mushy grapefruit, tangerine peel, and melon, with dank citrus rind developing a raw tone of earthiness over time; slight bready yeast lingers in the background and contributes a minor sweetness.

Taste brings an overarching herbaceousness to the fruity depth of the aroma, with ripe, earthier tones largely pushing subtle candied grapefruit, peach skins, light melon to the background.

Mouthfeel shows a body on the higher end of medium paired with a lighter carbonation; straightforward from start to finish, with a clean balance between creamy and crisp, and a minor hop bite only appearing on the swallow.

The fleeting, exceptionally complex aromas left the rest of this one a hard act to follow, which then essentially played it safely with Tilted’s usual (and always well-executed) ripeness taking over; all-around, an upper-tier NEIPA that’s a level of aggressiveness away from something spectacular.

Pours a opaque pale straw gold color with a bright white 1 finger head. Aroma has a mellow orange and grapefruit note. Not too strong. Taste has a great light sweetness with tangerine notes. I really like this flavor a lot. Simple but elegant. Feel is soft and lightly bittered.

This is just fantastic. Not pretentious and masterfully crafted.

Obviously an unfiltered beer. Extremely dirty, definitely a hazy beer but what distinguishes this beer (at,least my can) is that it's on the brown side of orange. A little odd. I got a huge head of foam, 2 inches or so in a pint glass after a moderate to aggressive pour.

The nose is citrusy but not overly so. Interestingly, I get some fairly strong bitterness front, mid, and back palate which is not what I imagined off the nose. Very resinous.

Fairly creamy and pleasant in the mouth. Almost the feel of what you may find in an IPA with lactose. Not tremendously carbonated and not at all sharp.

I like the beer and recommend. If I were local I may utilize this as a go-to but wouldn't go particularly out of my way to pick this up.

From a 16 oz can made this week to a nonic.
Beautiful beer! Pours very opaque gold/yellow big multi-sized bubble head.
Nose is light, like my other Tilted Barn today. Mostly over-ripe melon.
Taste is sweet to dry in a nice way. Pineapple to hop desiccant.
Mouthfeel is creamy, juicy, thick. A real pleasure to drink.

Pouring a cold 16 oz can into a snifter. the beer pours a very cloudy orange juice color into my glass. A dense bleached white head of 1 cm foams up. the foam fades to a thin edge layer and one wispy island that spins in the center of my glass.
The aroma is some citrusy fruit with mango and orange notes. I also get a bit of pine sap and maybe some biscuit malt.
Aroma is bold right from the pop top opening on the can.
The first sip reveals an average body with very fine yet tingly carbonation. The texture is smooth and drinks super easy on each sip. No hint of any ABV.
Flavor is citrusy notes of orange and grapefruit with a little mango. I also get some resiny pine sap that pops up on the finish and lingers a little bit with some bitterness. I dont get any alcohol hit and the malt is pretty buried in this hop forward IPA.
An enjoyable brew with a great aroma and solid on all aspects. Will definitely make the drive to Exeter again!

Had on draft at the brewery.

Cloudy orange in color with a fluffy white head.

Aroma of mangoes, oranges, pineapple and touch of pine.

Taste is a mango assault, with some pineapple, and a hint of lime. Finishes with a nice bready malt. Slightly peppery.

Feel is medium in bodied with moderate carbonation. Extremely dry and resinous on the finish. Goes down relatively smooth.

Overall, a good if unspectacular IPA. It's got a good amount of flavor and balance. Would definitely try this one again.

Very pleased. Very smooth ipa. Great flavor. Cloudy, as I prefer. First review and I am very new to this. But this beer was good enough to start an account and get talking about beer with friends. Very solid and very drinkable ipa. Have yet to try Cactus but that is my next beer from Tilted in the fridge..

16oz can dated 9/17 poured into a goblet

L - Hearty, pulpy orange that leaves some residual lacing
S - Mango, pineapple, lime
T - Dank and citrus hops meld together here. Pretty complex with a smoky/dank flavor mixing with guava, pineapple and mango flavors. Kind of a cigarette after-flavor which is sorta unpleasing, though.
F - Bitterness is felt but works well and not overpowering. Full of flavor
O - The hops felt too different and didn't really flow too well. Nose is the best part of this beer.

It pours a super hazy completely opaque golden yellow.

Nose features notes of white wine, kiwi, mango, and clementine.

The taste brings notes of super ripe pineapple, green banana, and lime. There is a big grainy presence leading into a pronounced peppery doughy malt profile. The finish is bitter and dank with some more lime.

Mouthfeel is medium. A bit boozy for the ABV.

Overall, I'm not crazy about this one. The flavors just don't really come together for me. This isn't TB's best work.

L - thick and turbid, definitely some meat behind this one. Feels rock just swirling it around in my glass. Dark, flat, greyish orange.

S - wholesome and rich aromas of juicy orange and coriander. Little bit of resin and spicy lemon rind. Touch of melon and grain.

T - the coriander turns to fresh Galaxy pineapple. Soft and gentle, but at the same time fiery and commanding earthiness with balanced grassy bitterness. Can't think of a better name for this beer! Slightly dank, sightly tangy. Citrus rind and mealy vegetation. Lingering bitterness that dries but also peppers the tongue with salivation. My mouth is watering!

F - home run. Like entering another dimension. Drinking a cloud. Silky luxury bursts forth like a velvety ocean wave breaking free of the still water surrounding it. Impossibly smooth and rich without being thick or cloying. Amazing.

O - another killer Tilted Barn brew. Stunning mouthfeel and big, fluffy, gentle giant flavors with focused and masterful bitterness. This is a well-crafted beer.

Milky yellow with retaining white foam.

Melon, grass, bright.

I thought Amarillo at first, surprised to see Galaxy. Simcoe's usually pine to me. Cracker base, dank hops, tangy sweet fruit that pervades and a little vegetable finish. Floral mix.

Little dry, medium carb.

Taste - hoppy, citrusy and tropical fruit
Feel - good creamy NE IPA on the palatte
