Beer looks great, smells great, and tastes pretty darn good. This is small outfit and was surprised to see that they were canning and available at my local grocer. Nice job Ol Firehouse Brewing.

Poured from 12oz can into a goblet. Hazy Amber. Copious head with lots of lacing. Pleasant pine aroma. Smooth mouthfeel and just a hint of malt upfront. Then citrus and lots of hops. Smooth bitter finish, as I expect from this much hops. No lingering aftertaste. This I the first beer that I've had from a very small local microbrew. Looking forward to more!

Poured from a can.

Extremely cloudy and yeasty looking body. Totally opaque dull/rusty orange body under a billowy off-white head. Rather uninspiring looking honestly.

Cut weeds and flowers, slightly musty/cheesy riding a wave of pineapple and evergreen sap. Sort of dank. A touch of fresh basil. Appealing but not overly inviting.

Good flavor consisting mostly of hop and yeast influence. I taste a bit of malt as the flavor fades from the palate, but this is a hops show through and through. I wouldn't expect much different from an American-style IPA, but it isn't original either. The hops manifest more on the herbal side of the spectrum, with some bitter citrus rind thrown in. Not overtly tropical or piney. The abundant yeast thickens the mouth-feel and gives a touch of a soapy quality which doesn't help.

Conclusion: By no means is this a bad IPA, but it is rather uninspiring. I like IPAs to seem more intentional and thought-through. I am not sure what all the yeast is doing for this. If it is "can conditioned" that is fine, but why is there so much yeast? Other breweries naturally condition their beers without this type of turbid body being produced with a normal pour. Anyway, I would happily drink this again, but would never pay for it. In today's world of craft beer, the standards are ridiculously high. Would I be happy if this was my homebrew? Yes. Are there 100+ IPAs out there which raise the standard higher? YES.

Pours a nice frothy head. Very hazy and unfiltered. Aroma is Citra and dank. Flavor is very dank. Slight bitterness at the finish. Pleasant. I picked this up as a single to try. I will be back for more.

Happy to see the small town of Williamsburg , Ohio put out a tasty brew. I bought a sixer of cans at the local drive thru about 45 mins from the brewery. Poured into a tulip. I see a very beautiful dark orange hue to this one and unfiltered goodness. Light and white head with decent lacing. The aroma is mostly dank floral hops and sweet bitter grapefruit with slight lemony citrus. Taste is much of the same with a quick to fade sweet malt then it's dank resin and a lil alcohol bite at the finish. Good balance all and all. Mouthfeel is towards the medium/high side. Decent carb. I have enjoyed the first one so far as I write this. Would definatly buy again. Cheers
