They have a fairly decent selection but aren’t shy about selling very out-dated brews. Be sure to check dates and/or bottle/can conditions before purchasing.

Updated Review:
Stopped by Allentown Abe's on Sunday and was incredibly disappointed with how this place has changed since my last review. The craft selection was anemic and the store is stocked with cases and cans of macro adjunct lagers and pounders from floor to ceiling, it's hard to believe it's the same place. I was in and out in under two minutes after a quick lap around the store searching for any good craft beer I haven't tried yet. If you're going to visit Abe's don't waste your time with the Allentown location and go to the Bethlehem store instead.

It's a former pizza place in Allentown that was converted to a beer store. You walk in and feel like you're in an abandoned Pizza Hut. No flow, disjointed, but you will find some good beer. Quite frankly, even though I live in Allentown I always bypass this place and go to the Bethlehem location instead which is a little bit better - it's a converted 7 Eleven / mini mart but it's stuffed from floor to ceiling with bottles and cans that will shame anyone else in the area.

Not close to the selection of their Bethlehem location. Seems to appeal mostly to the 40oz and domestic light beer crowd than craft. Not the go to bottle shop in Allentown, unfortunately.

I've only been in here a few times when passing through the area. The selection is decent but nothing even close to the Bethlehem location. The vibe isn't all that great, it's kind of what seems to be a bad area of town and the the building itself seems to be like it was quickly converted from a Pizzeria to what it is now. The service isn't bad. It's an ok spot if you're just looking for something quick to grab.
