I'm reviewing that blonde lager beer at the highest rate possible because it doesn't deserve to be under the bar of 80%. This is a top quality beer that looks like a cheap one. No matter hows the taste I could describe, there's nothing really astonishing in the bottom of that green bottle but, it is a great fuckin tasting blonde beer! Seriously, it is a lager blonde light beverage which is very refreshing no matter I you're in a high heat kinda place or even in the coldest icy lands lik here in Canada. I really think you should reconsider that lager a good tasting beer in its category and regardless of its look, it deserve a noble respect.
Cheers!

A - Pours a standard see through yellow with a frothy three finger head. Leaves very small amounts of lacing.

S - Skunk, rice, adjunct and corn adjunct.

T - Creamed corn, slight rice adjunct, seltzer water, corn flakes. Actually not terrible for a cheap beer.

M - Light body with heavy carbonation. No new flavors

O - Overall, a step above your average run of the mill mass produced beer. I actually like this more than any cheap beer that I have ever had. I would definitely get this again for a party

This is the best beer to drink any time of the year. It is a true go-to for any occasion. Great for the cottage or even when you're skiing. It is a very drinkable and refreshing lager. It has a great mix of hops and malts to provide a drinkable and tasty beverage. It is the true Canadian beer, owned and brewed by Canadians. And Canadians have been enjoying it since confederation.

One of my favorite 'cheap' lagers to swill / session without breaking the bank and without an annoying wall of hop bitter-ness common in so many contemporary micros/craft-brews.

Apparently one of the last family-owned Canadian breweries . Hope they won't sell out anytime soon .

Puts its American counter-parts to shame for price / value / taste .

I pour 2 at a time into a big tumbler. I sprinkle a little sea-salt in for a bit of zest (and less trips to the toilet ...)

If you are looking for a good example of a golden lager, Moosehead fits the bill. Great golden coler with good foam retention on draft, this beer has a nice malty finish to go along with the lager taste. Fresh scent when first poured, the beer is best when served in an imperial pint glass. For pairings this beer does well with fresh seafood, as it comes from the east coast of Canada!

My favorite!
5% ABV highly refreshing golden lager.
It offers a fine balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness.
Brewed longer with age-old yeast culture, it imparts a delicious and unique flavor.

Because of the green bottle, it is very sensitive to light so in order to avoid it being light struck, protect it from light as much as possible. I enjoy it with a slice of lime as well.
