Pours crystal clear yellow like apple juice with bubbles racing up the middle and a 2 finger snow white head that fades quickly and leaves a foamy layer on top and decent spotty lacing.

Smell is very basic, with grains, sweet malt, light floral hops, husk like vegetables or lettuce and some musk like yeast or an old shoe; pretty spot on for an old school classic lager.

Taste is pretty basic and again in line with the old school classic lager profile, with grains, malt, light floral hops, husk, a slight funk like yeast, and a clean earthy and malty finish.

Mouthfeel is very light, clean, refreshing and crisp, with light fizzy carbonation, a watery feel and an overall good session beer that’s just impossible not to drink fast.

I bought a 12 pack for a party I was hosting, hoping my friends would be as nostalgic as I was and enjoy pounding these beers and thinking about when we first had them in the mid-80’s; they were a hit and most were downed except this one used for the review. The taste is always average, but it’s a solid beer and a classic lager that is always enjoyable.

A - Golden wheat in color. Carbonation looks high. The head is white with minimal retention. No lacing on this on.

S - Skunk up front. Getting faint hops but mostly a corn like sweetness.

T - The skunk is gone. There is a nice crisp grain flavor that aint half bad. It sorta defines the whole taste and finishes clean.

M - Clean, semi dry, refreshing carbonation. Not bad.

O - Aside from the skunky nose this beer isn't too bad. Ive had worse in the style. I wouldn't recommend it but you could do worse.

My first time tasting this beer was a couple weeks ago. Before then i never even heard of it. My brother and I decided to get a random 12 pack. We went to the store and seen moosehead and decided what the heck will try it.

I thought the beer would be kinda harsh. Actually this is one of my favorites now. It really is a refreshing lager. Be perfect for the summer doing yard work. Overall a real good beer.

One of my all-time favorites. You would expect to be overwhelmed by the smell, but the first drink is just as refreshing as the last. a mid-yellow in color, this beer has a strong scent of hops but the taste is not that strong. You expect it to be somewhat harsh, but this beer is so smoothe that there is no harshness found. Very balanced in elements, I wouldn't classify this as sweet or dry, bitter or bland, this beer is just downright smoothe. Best just sitting on the couch and relaxing.
