Gold color. Crystal clear with a whisp of foam top. 3.5

Grain husks, and Euro hop mutings. Not much, but very clean. 3.0

Flatline flavor. Some pale malts whispering cereal notes and some Euro stank. A kiss of hop bitterness and a clean, almost apple-fruity finish. 3.5

Not carbonated enough. Thin body. 3.0

I prefer this over the BMC, but that's not saying a whole lot. The few sparing notes of interest seal the deal. 3.0

Poured from a 12 oz green bottle into my 32oz mug, "coded" freshness date

a: pours a clear golden, with about a 2 inch white head which quickly receded with some lacing down the glass 3/5

s: can't pick up too much here, some skunkiness and some malty sweetness, albeit very faint 3/5

t: first taste to me is corn, then the sweet malt, followed by a very mild hop presence, but it all mixes into the overall flavor and is gone with a swallow with nothing really lingering 3/5

m: very very crisp and smooth, perfect carbonation makes this go down very easy, it's just very very light 3/5

o: this is my first experience with Moosehead and I am not disappointed because it's great for what I got it for -- sipping while doing some yardwork in the 85 degree Alabama spring. This is a very good, albeit somewhat light, lager. 3/5

First review on iPhone...

A - pours a pale straw colour, finger of head which quickly recedes leaving no lacing

S - grassy notes, sweet corn, biscuit and toasted bread

T - sweet corn, buttered bread, grassy hop notes, biscuit and toasted saltines

M - medium, smooth and wet

O - classic lager flavours, though still rather mild, nothing spectacular, but easily drinkable

A clean clear looking beer. Can have a skunky odour but this seems to be common with beer in green colour bottles. It is the type of beer that tastes better the colder it is and the warmer you are. No lingering tastes.

Overall this is a clean beer that is not filling with some taste.

Appearance - pours a decent straw/golden. A snow white finger of fizz, fading but slowly due to quite a feed of bubbles from below. Lots of Swiss cheese lacing on the glass as this one goes down.

Aroma - an initial blast of skunk on opening and pouring. After some setup, some malt comes through but the skunk hangs around as well.

Taste - much better than I feared. A decent malt base, no skunk. Grain, some husk. A light bite of lemon, some balancing hops. Clean finish, a small alcohol edge. Fairly tasty and dynamic for the style.

Mouthfeel - very crisp, thinnish, tis the pale lager way.

Drinkability - a pleasant surprise, though it'd be way more sessionable out of a can.
