L: Poured from a crowler to a pint glass. Had a dull, yellow-orange color and a cloudy consistency. There was a small amount of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Excellent lacing.

S: A solid aroma of hops, citrus, malt, tropical fruit, and pine.

T: Tasted of a good shot of tropical fruit (mango), light pine resin notes, a bit of malt (mostly in the finish), lots of hops, a good shot of citrus (lemon, orange), and a light floral quality. A very straightforward flavor that's extremely focused. A good balance between the hops and all of the fruit elements. Lots of flavor, but not overly aggressive.

F: A good amount of carbonation with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.

O: A solidly made, easy to drink IPA. Not groundbreaking, but definitely drinkable.

Pours a milky yellow with a hazy clarity and a loose head. Nose expresses big Citra aromas and a candied quality follows the initial hops burst. Taste follows nose; however, it comes off a bit more subdued than anticipated. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with a lively carbonation and a mild acidity. Overall, another nice beer from this brewer. Not mind-blowing but every beer I've tried has been enjoyable.

On tap at The Answer

Pours a hazy golden-yellow with a small foamy white head. Smells of tangerine, grapefruit peel, light resin. Tastes of juicy citrus up front, grapefruit, a bit grassy & leafy, light resin on the finish, malt very clean. Medium body and carbonation, foamy mouthfeel and crisp finish. Nice citrus-forward IPA

Crowler shared by Jake. Thanks man.

Hazy yellow body with a soapy, bone white head. Aromas of dank, juicy hops. Yes. Large and in charge hop profile with additional notes of lightly spiced biscuits / bread. High drinkability. Nice.

Appearance: Arrives a hazy honey color capped by a fluffy head that provides a copious amount of lacing

Smell: Citrus, tropical fruit and slightly herbal tones; somewhat resinous

Taste: Bright, floral and citrusy, with subtle hints of herbal and tropical fruits; resinous bitterness develops through the middle, with a dry, bitter finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: My first beer from The Answer and a very nice IPA that stands out in a town where the Veil sets a high bar in the category

Hazy yellow color with a thin sticky white head that pools at the edges in bubbly clumps. Bright Citra tropical fruit aromas: green, leafy herbs, mango, and fresh lime-y citrus. Bold fruity hop flavors of mango, grapefruit, lemon/lime, pineapple juice, and very light biscuit. Soft, floaty feel with a crisp finish. Good Citra showcase of mango-y citrus tastiness.

Light yellow color, great nose of citrus and the taste delivers the same! Great citra hop deliverance. This is an awesome flagship IPA from The Answer.

Poured from a crowler into a snifter, the beer is a pale, hazy, lemon yellow coloring with a fluffy, light, bright white head that clings to the glass as you drink. Aromas of orange, grapefruit, lime, subtle grassy notes, and piney highlights. Very fruity and aromatic, with some floral hops notes in there, too. Flavors are bitter and citrus heavy forward, with a solid blast of orange and grapefruit following the initial bitter dose of resinous hops notes. Very well balanced and dynamic throughout. More substantial grassy notes come through on the back of the palate, alongside some lemon and lime notes. Very smooth, dry body, with a citrus and grass aftertaste. Smooth, dry finish, with a solid pine resin and citrus linger. Very good IPA.

Pours a light very slightly hazy straw/yellow/light orange color with frothy white head. Aroma of light citrus with tropical fruit (slight orange, lemon, mango, lychee & gooseberry) along with light sweet malt. There are peach/pear esters from the yeast also. Flavor follows the aroma with restrained bitterness, but TONS of hop flavor and aroma from what I am assuming is decent sized late hop additions. Definitely an all Citra beer with those tropical flavors. There is a tiny bit of bready character possibly from wheat malt and I believe a touch English caramalt/carastan etc. The feel is med-light enough to spread the hop oils across your tongue and keep them there. Carbonation is medium/moderate. I definitely do not see this as a West coast style IPA as some of the other reviewers state. This is East Coast all the way IMO. Overall, not my favorite IPA from The Answer, but definitely an outstanding beer. It deserves the awards it has won. Good job An & Brandon!

Pours a super light, hazy, straw color. Yep, citrus hops all the way. Orange, a little bit of grapefruit, and more orange make for an imminently refreshing and drinkable IPA. No malt and a bone dry finish following the juicy burst of citrus. I love this sub 7% abv and would buy the hell out of it all if they packaged it.

Beer poured a reddish orange with two finger head that died quick with little lace. The aroma is earthy/spicy hops with a touch of caramel malt/grapefruit sweetness. Taste is the same as the beer is light bodied, not watery but slick, easy drinker, balances light, citric hops with minimal grapefruit and malty sweetness and is an easy drinking beer that's worth checking out.

The beer comes in a dark amber orange.

The beer pops of piney and herbaceous hops, West Coast grapefruit, a medium bready malt with a bitter and clean dank finish.

A very much Three Floyds/Pipeworks beer. I expected much more from this up and coming brewery, but very much a familiar, decade old DIPA format.
