Very Good

Notes: But expect to be greeted by a surprising smoothness and a composed presence of tropical and citrus humulus lupulus. Only spotted in Texas, this IPA is our celebration of the most flavorful American grown hops.

bought this when the brewery owner had a "sampling table" at our local market street.

A BEAUTIFUL show ont the pour - more than 3 fingers of frothy white head - disperses to super lacing
not much for clarity - bright golden ale (think lemon colored)

s: super hoppy to the nose

t: one of the best. dogfish head level. the hoppiness lingers long after the brew is gone.

M - rather light

D: Really super - nearly worth a full FIVE (but Im holding out)

Appearance: Hazy yellow glass holds a tight bubbled cover and laces the glass nicely.

Aroma: Hoppy, but not punchy, citric and earthy notes, little malt base.

Taste: Nice citric hop flavor but not a hop bomb. Manages to pull off a little lemon citric note, which is hard to do. There is a very mild metallic edge somewhere, may be hop driven.

Mouthfeel: Medium heavy body, medium low carbonation gives a cask feel.

Overall: Tasty IPA. Lower hop levels then many, but refreshing and clean. Cheers to the Texas Ale Project.

A: Bright gold color, with a small yet dense head.
S: Great hoppy aroma, with bright fresh citrus, pleasant floral notes.
T: This is quite a tasty beer, with a lot of hop flavor up front, similar to the nose. Whatever yeast they used left a lot of nice fruity esters are well, and a touch of spicy phenols as well. Bitterness is high, but not so high as to cover up the malt which, though light, gives a little sweetness.
M: Light bodied, nice carbonation.
O: This is quite a surprise. Nothing else from TAP has impressed me, but this is a top notch IPA, a big beer, but with well-balanced flavors.

Canned on 3/7/17, enjoyed on 4/24/17. This is what a session IPA should taste like. Not much in the smell, but light citrus rind flavors that make this incredibly drinkable. It literally begs you to take another sip. Hoppy, but smooth with a great dry finish.

I really enjoyed this one.

Very well-balanced, earthy/ grainy IPA that has a nice citrus/light pineapple (not too sweet) and grapefruit/ lemony kick but isn't muddled with palate-destruction in its effort to be hop-forward. Really tasty stuff, hoppy, but balanced in malts and overall very well. Smooth medium feel, medium carbonation, zesty. Another Texas success in the IPA department, canned.

Clear golden body with a sticky persistent white head.

Orange, grapefruit and floral.

Pleasant firm bitterness. Medium bodied. Lots of grapefruit, a bit floral and some breadiness.
