Enjoyed at The Beer Research Institute in Mesa, AZ. POUR: On tap poured into a 16oz nonic pint. APPEARANCE: Golden amber in color. Mostly clear. No bubbles to speak of. Nice white head which is on the thin side. Lots of glass lacing present. Steady and consistent in regards to the lacing. AROMA: Pine and hoppy notes come through. Pretty subtle on the nose. Somewhat thin in regards to an IPA nose wise. TASTE: Some nice bitter hoppy notes. Very clean and dry mouthfeel.AFTERTASTE: Finishes clean with a fair amount of bitterness. Lots of piney and crisp hoppy notes throughout to the end. NOTES: Could have been more robust on the nose. Nice bitterness without being overwhelming or onion-like. RESULT/ RATING: Good / 2.96 out of 5.

Fantastic IPA. I wouldn't describe this as a west coast IPA. Nice malt backbone and not too dry. Smell is fantastic, must've dry hopped the crap out of it. Lot of simcoe and Amarillo. Piney, citrusy, grape fruit, delicious dankness.

A classic and well brewed version of a West Coast style IPA. Subtle malt backbone with a strong citrus hop aroma and flavor. Bitterness is solid but not overdone. Very drinkable for the 8% version that was on tap at my visit.

Out of this world IPA!! Delicious fruit notes, a smooth hoppy taste (not overwhelming), and a nice crisp finish!! Love it!!

Big west coast ipa. Nice malt profile, it really lets the hops shine. Citrus and pine, this beer is very well balanced while still providing the bitterness that hop heads crave.

Big, hoppy, West Coast IPA! Dank, piney Simcoe pairs perfectly with the sweet, fruity amarillo. Es bueno!
