Picked up a crowler from Craft Beer Hop Stop.

 

 

Picked up a 16 oz mason jar from the Craft Beer Quick Stop on 1-25-19 for $4.00. Sampled on 1-30-19.

Beer poured black with a beautiful off white head that is leaving some lacing behind.

Nose has a moderate dose of coffee along with some sweet lactose.

Taste is a moderate dose of coffee over a light roasted malt base. Finish is lacking some oomph as the beautiful start falls short.

Mouthfeel is light bodied and kind of creamy but is lacking some body.

Oveall a promising beer; i wonder if it has been on tap too long at Quick Stop...will try again, maybe at the source for a 2nd review.

Sits black as night in the glass. Morning is a milk stout made with copious amounts of local cold pressed coffee. It's so good. tons of mellow flavorful coffee coming through with the lactose rounding everything out and a touch of roasted malt bitterness bringing it all together. Classic creamy milk stout feel. Their best beer by far.

 

 

 

 

 

On tap at the brewery. I tend to like my stouts big and boozy, but I will make an exception for this one. It is all coffee and very easy. Drinking. Quite a light feel for a stout, also a bit creamy from the lactose. Overall, this might be a destination beer for me

 

 

Coffee immediately hits the tongue. Put it over ice and you might mistake it for the real deal. Velvety as it rolls over the tongue. One of the best coffee stouts I have ever had.

 

 

Brewed with cold extract coffee from a local coffee maker. Didn't fully catch name, protexeus or something. Holy crap the smell on this beer is off the charts. Fresh French pressed coffee, chocolate, milk, candy bars, fresh coffee beans. Taste lives up to the hype of the nose. Supremely smooth, not thin or dry, full mouthfeel, this is fantastic.
