473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Purchased for around $2.75 CDN.

Appearance - Pale golden color, crisp white white that doesn't last long. Loads of bubbles and good clarity. No lacing at all.

Smell - Thin and watery with some gentle grainy notes. Nothing off putting (i.e. no veggies) but not a big nose at all.

Taste - Light and thin tasting, with some subtle sweetness. Better than macro rice lagers. Touch of citrus in there when you get down to it.

Mouthfeel - Fizzy, light bodied, maybe a little too carbonated. About right for the style.

Overall - A nice rendition of a rice lager, but not something I'd want to drink regularly. Pretty refreshing a a good post-lawn cutting type of beer.

I've never been a huge fan of rice lagers, or lagers in general for that matter, however, the Sorachi is a very well brewed light rice beer. It's very crisp, and easy drinking, pairs really well with seafood.

Pours light gold colour with a tall thick bubbly head. Seems extremely carbonated to me, but this is a new style for me so perhaps this is the usual. The taste is light, not unpleasant, but not overly flavourful either. I don't taste any effect of the rice, but I'm not sure I'm supposed to or not. I will try this style again and maybe edit my review.
