This is one of the better tasting bocks, it was a wonderfully sweet flavor, its easy to drink, not overly complex.

It's not rich with different flavors but that just makes it more drinkable and casually enjoyable. The honey aspect actually pulls through. Greater than the sum of its parts. I did not pour this one so the look score is not based on that but it didn't let me review without it.

Lost forth is normally kind of the ho hum craft brewing company but this one stands out.

Finally! An Arkansas beer to get excited about!

Had at the brewery a few weeks ago and picked up a single on a recent outing....

Beautiful and rich and malty and slightly sweet...a great drinking beverage...with food or alone, this is one I would buy regularly if I lived in the area...one of those, "The usual..." beers....

Well crafted and delicious...good in the cool spring air and would be just as good in the crisp fall air....
I'm impressed with it...

Tasty little beer...

my very first from these guys, how exciting! huge thanks to my mother in law for bringing a sixer back from her travels there, this is really unique beer, exquisitely crafted, and popular for a reason it appears. super cool art on the can, and gorgeous beer in the glass, a deep reddish copper to bronze tone, on the clearer side, with an almost nitro looking inch of tan foam, creamy and lasting, epic carbonation on this, super lively which i love in a bock. the nose is neat, not the most robust lager yeast, more american than german there to me, but it leaves room for the honey, which is bold here, floral and sticky and waxy and kind of raw, concentrated, even candied, but not overly sugary at the same time. the malt base is lovely too, toasted and baked without being long boiled or overly rich, the interplay with the honey is killer, this seems organic and agricultural and even kind of healthy, some minerals in the water profile seem right for a bock too. the flavor is this is similar to the nose, honey and malt lead it together, subtle nots of raisin and almond are also here, making this autumnal and even kind of festive. smooth as can be to drink, medium body with highly charged carbonation and a quicker drier lager finish than it seems like it will be able to get to, but it does. really delicious stuff, unique honey profile, very well made beer and something a bit different from what else is out there. i would drink this all the time if i had it available to me on the regular. i will savor the rest of the six pack. yum!

I had two tasters of this one and I thought overall it was an ok bock with a sweet honey taste to it, nothing special with not bad at the same time…..

Having this next to Bubba Brew's bock, it's almost indistinguishable in appearance, with a burnt amber to brown body, but a shorter khaki head.

This one's a little more astringent and bitter than Bubba's. It's floral and biting, and maybe a tad lighter, but still appropriately round and medium in body. The malt is a touch sweeter, with a hint of honey wheat, but otherwise toasted and herbal.

Are bocks a big thing down here? Seems like an odd style for the weather.
