Received from @jdell15 in a BIF. Bottled on 1/14/2020 and poured into a tulip glass. It pours an opaque, bright orange with an enormous, creamy, bright white had and thick, clinging lacing. The head resembles a dollop of ice cream. It has a true Belgian nose: lemon, banana, clove, coriander, and pepper. The taste opens particularly tart; I don't taste any banana. There is lemon and orange zest, along with Brett yeast. The Saaz hops are evident in the dry, earthy, rather bitter Belgian spicing and dose of pepper at the finish. The carbonation is lively and the 4.8% ABV is barely noticeable. Overall, Day Drinker is a pleasant Belgian Blonde Ale that is on the bitter side.

A: Pours a golden/yellow color with a slight haze. A two finger white head forms with good retention and lace.
S: Peppery phenols, orange and citrus aromas. Biscuit and crackers. A nice doughy yeast presents as well. This is simple but well done.
T: The peppery phenolic spice up front. Again doughy yeast with more of a peppermint taste. Cracker like malts and citrus rind. Again, simple, but I like it.
M/O: A light body with crisp carbonation. Very clean. Definitely an easy drinker and I could see myself sessioning this all day.

Fairly simple, and reminds me somewhat of a Wit without the wheat added. A very enjoyable easy drinker, and I will look forward to having more when passing through town again.

12 oz can poured into Sierra Nevada twirly glass. Hazy fuzzy golden color with a tall white head diminishing to 1 finger after a minute.

Aroma of nectarine, pepper, hot biscuit, orange peel, and dough.

Flavor is quite yeasty and peppery to start, with slight salt, orange and lemon peel, tons of pears, bread crust, and piney hops. Slight hints of bubble gum on the finish.

Feel is carbonated and intense, with a peppery feel as well, and a nice biscuity dry finish.

Overall, this beer needs to be enjoyed with the mouth full, savoring each individual aspect before the swallow to appreciate it rather than drank quickly. If you drink it quickly, it will taste like a peppery Budweiser. If you take the time to let it soak in, it becomes a much more complex animal, and it's quite delicious. Very good on a hot day.

Hazy gold with little head and light lacing. Light citrusy smell. Slightly creamy and moderate carbonation. Has a nice sweet malty citrus taste with light hops. Pretty good!

Got in a BIF from jdell15. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 12/8/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, peach, pear, red apple, coriander, orange zest, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of banana, bubblegum, clove, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, pale malt, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, peach, pear, red apple, coriander, orange zest, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of banana, bubblegum, clove, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/grassy hop bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, peach, pear, red apple, coriander, orange zest, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, banana, bubblegum, clove, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a nice Belgian pale ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Hits the style really well, but comes off a bit bland/watery. Very balanced yeast, spice, malts. Well rounded yeast complexities. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Day Drinker has a thin, white head (wide-brimmed glass), a bubbly, hazy, golden appearance, and no lacing left behind. The aroma is of spiced white bread, bread crust, coriander, and horse blanket. Taste is of all of those elements, with an even more brettanomyces flavor. Bitterness is negligible. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Day Drinker finishes medium-crisp and easy going.

Poured from can into tulip, soapy meringue colored head, dissipates after about 1 minute to a pool. Clear bright golden in he glass. Smells faintly of biscuit malt and fruity Belgian yeast and earthy hops. Taste is crisp, minimal Belgian yeast profile here, a little fruitiness, starts off with a little malt sweetness, some fruitiness from the yeast and a semi dry spicy finish. If I was looking for something to drink throughout the day this would fit the bill, pretty good personality for a 4.8% beer

Draft at the source. Clear, light golden body with a small white collar. Belgian yeast in floral notes with an odd, rubbery character. This doesn't carry over into the flavor profile as much as I had feared. A decent beer that could perhaps use a few minor tweaks.

T: Follows the nose, dryness & phenols as well up front. More breadyness as this warms, some pear. Finishes bready with a little grassiness & pear

MF: Light body with moderate carbonation

Drinks easy, sort a sort a gentle introduction the style
