Neat little tasting room in an industrial environment. Some leather couches and high tops with barstools. Good sized bar with plenty of room to post up. Room for 6 taps, only 3 on for now. 2bbl brewhouse on one end of the room, fermentation is in a temp controlled room off the tasting room. Some cool merchandise for sale.
Definitely has a good vibe and the guys were all pretty cool.

Visited on a rainy Sunday early on in the day. This was my second visit to Lunacy, and first time at the new joint. Definitely a positive upgrade in both the location and overall quality and selection of beer. Compared to the cramped, dank garage they were in before, this new location has more breathing room, more crowd friendly. Nice long bar while behind within the room there's a few high-tops, some bench seating, and plenty of standing room. Brewhouse in another room, visible to patrons. Like the original place, they set aside some chill outdoor seating, but much more here. Overall, they're now equipped to serve higher volume, comfortably. Both bartenders were friendly and helpful. Radio on the background. Good place to hang out and I'll be sure to visit again on a nicer day.
I was anything but impressed with the quality of their beer at the old place, but they seemed to have taken some strides in the right direction with the larger brewhouse. Tap list had strong emphasis on hoppy and flavored beers, featuring 16 total: 6 IPA, 4 Gose, 3 Stout/Porter, 2 Pale ale, 1 Belgian strong dark - I tried each dark beer, the base Gose, 2 IPA, 1 PA ... Still an odd off-flavor or two, especially with their coffee porter, but the hoppy beers were all serviceable.
Looking forward to seeing how they develop. Probably visit again 'round winter. Hopefully, they'll eventually branch out with styles and not just do variations on the same theme.

Nice place with a long wooden bar atop a galvanized steel front with swivel stools. There's a fancy stainless steel back bar and lit logo to give you something to look at, as well as their home-made painted tap handles. The floor is simple concrete which goes along with the industrial look of painted cinder block walls and a side garage door that's usually open unless the weather's bad; and that's a good thing because it can be a little dark toward the brewery side. There's no food as per NJ state law but they offer 15 beers on tap with a heavy reliance on IPA and Belgians. The quality is good, and depending on the crowd it can be a good time.
