On tap at their Truckee location. Pretty standard. Easy drinking and balanced.

Good beer for the Raul man. I’m going to guess it’s the Lake Tahoe water. Like, I love all my local breweries, but have you seen the LA River? Anyway, it’s not Eugene Paletre robust, but it still brings enough flavor to please, and it’s balanced Like Tesla after eating his peas.

I was hoping to like this more than I did. I keep expecting California breweries to serve me up an old school West Coast IPA but I think that style may be close to dying out with the haze craze. Slight vegetal iin the flavor but muddled. Did not want another or any to go.

Enjoyed while sitting on a the patio at Squaw Valley which may have influenced my rating. Light bite with a clean finish and a little creamy for an IPA. Definitely enjoyed and would order again but had more in common with many Session IPA's

Alibi's IPA is apparently a constantly rotating recipe. This one was Batch #122. Per the label on the pack: "7.4% abv. El Dorado/Chinook bomb fermented with a blend of American and Saison Yeast. Canned 6/28/16."

This beer smells and looks amazing. Big tropical fruit and a subtle amount of pine. But then it gets a little weird...the flavor gets distracted by the saison yeast, and I am usually not a fan of Chinook hops anyway. It is clean and fresh, and overall pretty good, but just a bit off to me. Cheers!

Pours light orange with yellow edges and a one finger white head. Aroma pops with mango, peach, orange, dank and resinous characteristics. Taste follows the aroma well. Malt is restrained with a focus on some pretty intense dank notes with tropical fruits and stone fruit characteristics balancing it out. Really well made IPA.
