Another one from my trip to Pennsyklvania three weeks ago. Probably would able to get this here since we do see Southern Tier brews around, just couldn't recall seeing this one before.
No bottling info visible.
a: Clear gold with a finger thick white head which receded to thin patchy surface foam and fairly dense lacing.
s: Mild light fruit.
t; Light fruit and bready malt up front under a balancing hop bite. Dry finish.
m: Medium, good body and carbonation tingle.
o: Bottle conditioning does not seem to have muddied the clarity of this in the least, but after starting out little better (although less sweet) than a mainstream lager, it gains flavor and character as it warms. A good dinner beer, and eventually a pretty good sipper.

Bottled on 6/5/14. 12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. This is a bottle-conditioned beer. Pours a transparent golden with great clarity; fluffy eggshell white head that leaves awesome lacing and great retention. This truly is a beautiful looking beer. The aromas are full of malts. I feel like I'm picking up some pilsener malts. Some fresh bread with subtle hints of caramel. The aromas seem pretty faint overall. The flavors are a bit bolder than the aromas. There's a subtle hop bitterness, but the hop flavor is dull. Subtle hints of lime zest. More caramel. Subtle pine notes. Very grainy. Subtle sweetness. Clean and ultimately crisp. The mouthfeel is outstanding. Being bottle-conditioned can do that. Although it's a light beer, it has an amazing body to it. It's extremely creamy and fluffy with active carbonation. Mouthfeel is definitely the star of the show, in my opinion. So smooth and fun to drink.
The aromas and flavors aren't flashy, but the craftsmanship takes it to an enjoyable level. Very refreshing and fun to drink. It stays true to style. I still like Southern Tier's Live much more. Live has everything this beer has, plus aromas and flavors that really pop.

The nose reveals a much fruitier hop than expected with citrus elements of oranges, lemon, grapefruit and cantaloupe. The malt is light and grainy with a barley and nutty backdrop.
This tastes more like an IPA with the strong fruit hop profile but the malt is weaker and it drinks quite thinly. The hop flavor is very good as it covers a wide array of fruit flavors such as orange, lemon, mango and grapefruit. The malt that I do taste is grainy and light, like a Pilsner.
I've enjoyed this and feel it serves much better on draft.
