As a Harvest Ale, I would expect the malt to dominate the pallet and aroma. While malt does dominate the flavor, there is a surprisingly pleasant mild hop aroma. Hops in the flavor are excellent. They don't overtake the caramel malt flavor, but balance the whole flavor profile very well! It tastes like a caramelized American pale ale.

I would definitely buy this again for any occasion.

Definitely an Americanized version of the classic ESB, which is to say it's over-hopped & lacks balance in the malt / hop ratio. It isn't too abrasive with the hops & it has a good body, but the malt profile is a letdown

Deep gold with a hint of burgundy, plenty of carbonation. Smells strongly of hops, but a mild variety. Tastes bitter, mostly of hops. The malt isn't boring but a bit one dimensional. One of those lighter beers that surprises with a well crafted body. Some alcohol in the after taste, but it's a clean flavor and finishes very balanced.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. DOB 7/26/17, so under 2 months old. had several times in the past, first review rather than just a rating.

copper/pale orange body, good off white head leaving very good lacing.

Not much on the nose. it does have a not unpleasant aroma, but i cant put my finger on what it is.

taste is a balance of hops and malt, as it should be with an ESB. hops seem to win out. It's certainly not Fullers ESB, but i it's not bad.

Mouth is around medium, finish is slightly bitter and a faint sourness.

overall, a pleasant enough drink.
