Notes:
A faint crescent moon hangs low in the azure sky as the last pinpricks of starlight disappear into the brightening day. Quiet, repetitious sounds float up from nearly invisible waves lapping the beach. A cool mist hangs at the water’s edge, obscuring the early morning light into a luminescent, golden glow. One can’t help but feel a sense of easy calm in this magically surreal moment, as if caught in a universal shift, a sort of heaven-on-Earth amid the Lake Shore Fog.
Three words to describe Lake Shore Fog: hazy, juicy, refreshing. Three more: aromatic, delicious, golden. A year of brewing development has captured these attributes and rolled them into a brilliant new beer. We are using absurd amounts of hops, dry hopped on 4 different days, making it a juicy flavor and aroma bomb. A slight malty sweetness balances a dry and very mild finish which melds perfectly with its hazy appearance. Tropical, citrus, and stone fruit, and pleasingly floral character is marked with notes of big, dank, resinous Mosaic, Citra, and Amarillo hops. Enjoy!

16 ounce can poured into a tulip glass.
L---Hazy, bright gold color. Nice rocky white head. Very good retention and nice lacing.
S---Sweet & full of tropical juices. Pineapple, papaya, mango. Orange, grapefruit & peach are there as well.
T---Follows the nose. Pineapple, grapefruit, papaya mango & orange. A juicy fruit bomb.
F---Juicy, wet & quenching. Moderate mouthfeel with ok carbonation.
O---A very nice beer by a good brewery. I'm generally not too big on NEIPAs, but this is a very good example of what they can be.

A truly exceptional IPA. Marvelous color and smell. Both hazy and juicy. Excellent robust mouth feel. Strong, but not overly so - so you can drink more than one!

The ink on the bottom of the can is smudged and illegible.
Appearance: The body is a light yellow color and very hazy, only allowing some shadows through as light passes through the glass. The head is short and white with large bubbles. Not much head retention and no lacing.
Aroma; The beer has a strong aroma of mango, garlic, grapefruit, and under-ripe pineapple. It is a bit catty in the background.
Taste: The beer has a very grassy opening with some mango skin and onion. Mostly it is grass though. There is a bit of alcohol flavor.
Mouthfeel: The beer roughens up the tongue a bit and it has a bit of hop burn. Bitterness is in the medium range. It isn't that pleasant to drink because of the raw harshness of the beer.
Overall: The beer misses the mark on the smooth and drinkable character of what a New England IPA is, but it does have some very pronounced aromas. As a whole I wouldn't really drink the beer again and it isn't one I would recommend, but if there are no other New England IPAs available then this has enough aroma and flavor to scratch the hop itch.

Canned on 8/14/19. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy yellow; fluffy eggshell white head that quickly fades leaving decent retention and and okay lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of tropical notes. Some sweet malts. The flavors follow the nose. More tropical fruit along with some citrus coming through. Some pineapple and grapefruit leading the way. Some fresh grass. Moderate bitterness. Malts do their thing without dominating. Finishes juicy although there's some dryness to it. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a pretty solid "New England IPA". Nice hop aromas and flavors. Enjoyable stuff.

12 ounce can, canned on 5/6/19, thanks again to my buddy Denis for this brew! Served in a DFH Spiegelau IPA glass, the beer pours a hazy bright gold color with about an inch and a half white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells mostly like grapefruit/orange juice, along with some herbal/dank hops, grassiness, peach and a bit of bready malt. I think the taste pretty much follows the aroma, but there's some hoppy bitterness in the finish. Overall the sweet and bitter flavors are balanced. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and coating with a good amount of carbonation. Thought this was good and enjoyable, definitely worth picking up!
