Very Good
Notes: Sometimes evolution is observed in real time. Case in point: Nu Juice IPA. Over the course of more than a year of development, our R&D team uncovered the ultimate balance of hops and malts. This process involves adding Mosaic, Ekuanot, and Simcoe hops over a multi-day period, creating a refreshingly juicy and approachable IPA. As an added bonus, bitterness has been reduced to a low 30 for what could be the smoothest IPA ever brewed.

Look - poured into a 12 oz glass. Golden color, one finger head with some lacing. A typical look
Smell - an outburst of refreshing tropical flavors and some citrus. smells like a juice blend, in a good way.
Taste - surprisingly light. hop flavor detectable immediately, but fades quickly into the background, and beer finishes with a light malty note.
Feel - medium bodied, though on the lighter side. average carbonation, and on average in booze content at 6%.
Overall - this is a fairly light IPA that is probably too light for hopheads, but very approachable for anyone else. it has good complexity of hop flavor, but just does not pack as much of a punch in terms of bitterness.

Drain pour. On the nose smells like a NE IPA, but that's where the similarities end. Super bitter after initial fruit taste that is super unpleasant.

Pours light gold. Clear. Smells very fruity. The taste follows suit. Heavy hoppy fruit flavor. Very juicy. Slight bitter finish. Very smooth.

Pours golden yellow with a 1 inch white head. Moderate lacing as you go. Moderate carbonation.

Aroma is floral, piney, citrusy.

Tastes of pine, grapefruit, orange. Low bitterness for an IPA.

Light bodied, smooth, dry mouthfeel.

Being an IPA, I'd expect more bitterness. That said, it is a good beer.

A: Poured from the 16 oz can into a Palm tulip. Body is clear golden-orange, with a foamy, 1.5-finger white head on top, which leaves behind foamy lace.

S: Some grainy malt, some lemony bitterness, and a generic sweet fruity smell.

T: Modest cereal grain foundation is followed by generic fruitiness - hard to really pin down a specific flavor, but it's sweet. Finishes with a touch of earthy pine (presumably from the Simcoe herein) and some lemon zest. Burps are sweet.

M: Given the clear body, it does "feel" somewhat surprisingly juicy. Call it light-to-medium in heft.

O: An easy drinker that's pretty inoffensive, but then, not terribly memorable either. Price was right at Hannaford for this impulse buy, though I probably won't buy it again. . . .

i was pretty pleased with this one, just didnt taste fully fresh to me when i had it, my parents tend to acquire craft beer and then not drink them, saving them for my brother and i, which is kind of course, but sometimes things end up in the fridge awhile before we get together, which i fear was the case with a couple of these recent southern tier beers i had. that said, the hop profile on this is really good, and somewhat different with the equinox hops in here, some mango, some grapefruit, some lemongrass, some kumquat, even pears in here too, which is something i get from belgian yeast much more frequently than hops! its hard to tell if its a little malty in the flavor because its actually a bit malty, or because some age has let it fade a little, im thinking a little bit of both, but there is smooth sweetness in here that i think works brilliantly with the hops, despite popular opinion, it remains true that malt in an ipa is not always a bad thing! fruity finish to this, long linger and tasty hoppy burps. compelling enough that i will make an effort to revisit this when i can assure its freshness. it was never the hoppy stuff that i liked the most from these guys, but recently i have been more and more impressed with them. i liked this a little less than the lake shore fog i had it adjacent to, but both were really pretty good.

Pours medium gold with a one finger bright white head that dissipates slowly. Slight stone fruit and pineapple nose. Taste is balanced between malt, very light citrus and piney hops. This seems more like a pilsner. Moderate carbonation and body. Refreshing.

It has a clear mellow yellow look. It has a cotton candy like smell with hints throughout the flavor. It has a herbal extract undertones with hints of orange tangy citrus. Overall it is very smooth, slight bitterness. I would definitely drink it again. It has a malty asphalt finish that is not overly sour.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 2/28/2019. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel zest, wood, green pepper, pine, cracker, white bread dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and pale malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel zest, wood, green pepper, pine, cracker, white bread dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/zesty, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel zest, wood, green pepper, pine, cracker, white bread dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an outstanding juicy American IPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and pale malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish; amazingly soft feel, and not aggressive. Amazing Mosaic, Ekuanot, Simcoe profile as expected. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a perfectly balanced pale malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A highly enjoyable offering. They nailed this: combines the juiciness of NEIPA, with the smoothness of a west coast without the aggressive bitterness.
