Live Session is bright, refreshingly loud, and cracked up to 11 by adding generous amounts of Citra hops, reflect the feeling of live music. Live Session pairs great with toe-tapping or head-banging to your favorite band on stage.

Clear light amber color with a foamy white head, good retention and some very nice lacing.
The aroma is citrus and pine resin with a background of light malt.
The taste is grapefruit and pine resin and light sweet malt with a dry somewhat grassy finish.
The body is light/medium, smooth, moderate carbonation, very drinkable.
Altogether this is a decently balanced pale ale, tasty and refreshing enough for a warm summer cooler.

12 ounce can poured into a tulip glass. Best by 8/23/22, so well within date.
L---Crystal clear, light amber color. Fluffy white head had good retention and left very nice lacing.
S---Pine & citrus some light grapefruit.
T---Pine & floral hops. Citrus is very light.
F---Medium bodied with good carbonation.
O---Decent, but not especially good. Glad I only got one.

Purchased as part of a 15-can variety pack from Sam's Club for $16.89. Poured into a nonic pint glass.
L - Straw-gold, with a slight haze. A wonderfully fluffy three-finger off-white head stays the whole session.
S - Mild pine and citron, with a broad pale wheat note.
T - Quite grassy, actually. The wheat and very mild citrus notes are present. A bit of a bitter finish to a rather balanced session. Despite the average ABV, there's an ethanol note present towards the end of the glass, brought out by the bitter finish.
F - Medium-bodied, with mild carbonation. Refreshing and drinkable. Satisfying, yet not too filling.
O - More carbonation would help what this brew is going for. This drinks like a very mild IPA. Really digging the flavors here though - mild, but not subdued. I figure if this brew is marketed more around here (WNC) it'd be wildly popular this summer. Taking this one camping!

Pours a pale clear gold- nice big persistent rocky head. Smell is some good citrusy hops. Taste is very similar to the nose, but what is pleasant in the smell seems a little on-note in the flavor. Light malt and light citrusy hops. Tastes good but seems like its missing something. Light bodied and very drinkable which is the idea. Not anything that memorable, but at the same time, it seems like the really accomplished what they were going for- sessionable american pale ale for sure.

Light amber with chill haze, generous off-white head, great retention, rings of lace
Big grapefruit and light pine aroma
Tastes like it smells, with some light caramel malt, but not that full
Medium-light bodied with lower carbonation
I think this would be awesome to have on cask, but out of a can, it lacks something

From what I understand southern tier gives their beers ~3 month shelf life. I'm guessing this was canned some time in early December of 2021, meaning this specific can is reasonably fresh.
Look: Pours a light orange shade of golden yellow with a one and a half finger head of rocky off white foam. 90% translucent with a very light haze.
Aroma: Grapefruit pith, orange marmalade and tangerine.
Taste: Nice balance of bitter hop / citrus oil and malted grains. Light and refreshing flavors of bitter oranges and tangerine peels. Goes tropical midpalate with a bit of pineapple puree, before ending on gentle sugar cookie like flavors of toasted malt. Very simple. Easy drinking.
Feel: Bubbly and crisp, still with some weight to it. I wouldn't call the body "light" but it's somewhat lighter than average. Perfect mass for a session ale.
Overall: I got this as part of southern tier's mix pack with 4 other beers and was pleasantly surprised. Having paid just over $15 for 15 beers, I really can't complain.
