From the bottom of the can: "D.O.B. 10/24/19 20:56:34 FL"
Appearance: Black body with a head that looks like it has three layers, a brown, dark khaki, and light khaki. The head condenses into a very dense and glass-like smooth surfaced cap that is still large and holds amazing retention. Perfect retention and lacing.
Aroma: It smells like vanilla and caramel are shooting out of the beer. The aroma is intoxicatingly good smelling. It smells a lot like French Vanilla Coffee but without the coffee.
Taste: It has a ton of vanilla flavor mixed with caramel and a cool menthol-like burnt carbon finish.
Mouthfeel: It feels medium bodied and smooth but textured to make it feel thicker, giving it an almost mousse-like presence.
Overall: It's an amazingly well-made beer with a ton of flavor and aroma and a pleasant texture to back it up. The can states that this is an "ALE BREWED WITH VANILLA BEANS AND WITH NATURAL FLAVORS ADDED." It doesn't mention what those natural flavors are, but it certainly tastes like vanilla. The can also states that this is "MADE WITH LACTOSE SUGAR" and that could contribute to some of the evident sweetness. The beer works well on its own as a dessert so I would not recommend pairing it with anything unless it is alongside a strong chocolate mousse or a black forest cake. I recommend treating yourself to it and I would drink it again.

Poured from a can into a snifter fairly hard. Nitro took a minute to settle into a couple fingers of whiteish head. Amazing smell, exactly like creme brulee. Taste is almost identical, almost too sweet in the beginning but quite good, especially when paired with a sweet dessert. Creamyry texture and medium body. Excellent dessert stout.

Poured into a 13 oz Snulip glass, pours a very attractive near pitch black with a finger of khaki head, that leaves little if any lace. 3.75
Smell is like butterscotch candy, vanilla, and caramel, simple but very pleasant. 4.25
Taste follows but not as good as the smell, butterscotch, caramel, and vanilla and possibly some hints of booze, but just does not do the nose justice. 3.75
Mouthfeel a tad thin, creamy, and drinks like 10%.3.75
Overall I was hoping for more, not bad but after the Milkshake I was hoping for much more. 3.75

Poured into a 22 Oz stein at a temperature that was admittedly too cold to truly enjoy at 45F.
Used a hard pour and was greeted with a very dark brown cafe colored beer with a bleach white head. No lacing.
The aroma of vanilla with a hint of coconut flavor. A very strong smell of chocolate and yeast. The flavor was spot on with what I was expecting from a stout meant to taste like a creme brulee. That's all really. I was a bit disappointed because I was expected much more complexity from the different aromas but upon tasting most of the aromas disappear and you are left with mostly sugared vanilla and a very delicious malt flavor. I will admit though that Southern Tier has totally nailed the Nitro brewing line they have and all of the nitro beers they make have the smoothest most velvety texture you could imagine.
Overall, I could see myself buying this beer and enjoying it again and it tastes as a milk stout should but it is not something that I would consistently buy and would only have for a special occasion maybe even paired with something like a cheesecake.
