thanks to the guy from Joe Canal's that gave this one to me a while ago... I told you I wouldn't drink it without reviewing it !
eyes...
bubbles up quite lively (been sitting in the cellar now for some months), about 3 fingers of head quiets down in a steady manner, lacing is good, absolute light straw in color, decent head retention, a decent representation in the hizzy....
nose...
earthy wheat aroma dominates, a slightly sour honey note (pleasant), it has a saison lite type of aroma, interesting
taste etc...
clean and easy going, one of the more session-able beers from ST, some mild hop bitterness in the back with a hint of citrus, pretty refreshing brew, nothing over the top here, just a really smooth drinking brew with just enough hop kick to prevent it from being a light beer.
verdict?
I prefer the more aggressive hop sun or even the ST pilsner, but this is a nice option to get people off the mega brews imo.

Pours hazy yellow, with a thin white head.
Bready wheat and yeast jump out in the nose with a peppery hop presence.
The taste has a good hop/wheat ratio with toasty malt, clove, and a lemony hop kick. The finish is clean and the hops linger in the finish.
One of the better in the pack of pales, but far from desirable.

12 ounce bottle, no freshness info/bottling date...pours light soft golden, hazy, short lived off white head. Sweet honey and flowers in the nose. Pleasant enough summery ale. Notes of wheaty malt, more honey, and light vanilla. Pleasingly dry finish. Nice warm weather quaffer

Appearance: 1/2 inch head, bright gold in color, clear, high carbonation
Smell: grass, malt, and hops
Taste: honey-especially at the end, grass, wheat, caramel, and malt
Mouthfeel: smooth, can feel the moderate carbonation, clean, moderately sweet
Drinkability: This tastes almost like a hefe without the bite. A very good inoffensive session beer. Could have several especially in warmer weather.

Appearance - pours a cloudy straw colour, nice white foamy head about 2 fingers. some nice light lacing, nothing wild. there are some sediments in my glass, not much carbonation.
Smell - found the smells to be very mild, some wheat and a little orange/lemon, but there is nothing dominating that stands out.
Taste - not a bad tasting beer, very even and well balanced. there is a slight orange taste, some wheat, but overall just a smooth beer.
Mouthfeel - added volume adds some bitterness, but not much else. the taste and balance carry over.
Overall - would have to say this is a weak wheat beer IMO, there are far better out there on the market.

12oz bottle poured into a Duvel tulip.
Pours a light yellow with a small white head - reminiscent of BMC at first. Nose is mellow, wheaty, a bit spicy as well.
Taste is a bit bitter from the hops, it has a decent bite from the yeast with good carbonation that leaves your tongue tingling. There's a good fruity flavor on the end as well. For a style that generally isn't very good, I think this is a tasty beer.

Poured from 12 oz bottle into a 16oz pint glass. Firm pour conjures a scant 1/8 inch head that falls to skim very quickly. No lace. Color is a clear very pale yellow, like a weak lemonade.
Nose- Very bland, no distinguishing characteristics.
Taste- Bland, mildly dry. Faint hop bitters in the finish, faint sweetness. Some mildly floral notes. I really thought this was going be more of a play on a hefe or a Belgian white.
Mouthfeel- Very active, and mildly dry.
Drinkability- Session ale low on taste.

poured out of 12 into pint glass. pours a hazy straw yellow color with a small head that faded almost immediately and halfway down the glass was completely gone. no head retention and no lacing.
the aroma is that of wheat, lemon, citrus, maybe apricot, and some funk from the yeast. pretty standard.
the taste, which is slightly watery, has a lot of wheat and lemon citrus goin on.
light bodied, pretty medium to high carbonation. overall a good sessionable beer. i could easily drink these all night cause there so light. i wouldnt really recommend this to any true craftbeer enthusiasts, but would be good for someone just getting into it.

I miss Hop Sun that may be my next case, this is shite in comparison but as an American Pale Wheat it's kind of interesting. Appears a pale yellow apple juice completely filtered hue. Bright white head forms thick and dwindles pretty quickly leaving a nice collar of lacing around the wheat beer glass I'm drinking out of. Nice fine speckled lacing with each gulp. Aroma has a reverent grassy herbal flow that's almost spicy at times, I like it. A clean light toasted malt base for some mild sweetness, very much like lemongrass. Flavor is nice the wheat adds a very cereal tone to the whole mix light biscuit sweetness with heavy grassiness and dhammomile tea with more lemongrass herbs not much hop action maybe just a touch of citrus in the background. Mouthfeel is light bodied easy drinking completely downable, one of those brews that are meant to be drank in session during the grass cuttying Earth Days. Better than another Imperial WTF creation. Overall pretty enjoyable doesn't transcend but nails a hard to like style.

On-tap at the Porter in Atlanta.
Pours a hazy yellowish-straw color with a one-finger white head. The head recedes into a wispy layer on top leaving light lacing.
Smells of pale malts with large amounts of wheat twang. Also present are grassy hops and very slight amounts of sweet pears.
Tastes similar to how it smells although a bit more robust. Equal amounts of pale malt and wheat flavors kick things off. Soft pear flavors join in shortly thereafter before being pushed aside by grassy and slightly earthy hop flavors midway through the sip. The wheat and hop flavors carry through to a crisp and mildly bitter ending.
Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with moderate carbonation.
Drinkability is also good. I didn't have any problems finishing my glass and could have another.
Overall I wasn't expecting much going into my glass but was pleasantly surprised. A nice, non-invasive beer that goes down easy, especially in the warmer months.
