Pours a clear orange. Thick foam. Sweet orange aroma. Big orange and hop body. Malt finish with a slight bitterness. Tastes like a wheat beer mixed with an IPA. Not bad but a bit unnecessary.

Very good head production, retention, and lacing. Body is an orange gold hue and almost crystal clear - transparent, but with a bit of fine sediment out of suspension.

The added citrus is prominent on the nose, standing out above the hops. Orange, grapefruit, flowers, lemon, lime ... and that's about it. It's a wonderfully inviting albeit singularly-focused aroma.

Similar on the palate, although there's more presentation from the hops, malt, and even yeast. In addition to mandarin orange, ruby red grapefruit, lemon, and lime, there are notes of honey, honeysuckle, white bread, cracker, banana, mango, and a touch of bright herbs. The banana is a touch too strong, taking away from any expressed bitterness, to the detriment of the beer as a whole.

From a 12oz can dated best by 7/22/22 into a pint glass.

Pours an ever so slightly hazy brownish orange with about a finger and a half of white head. Decent retention and lacing.

Some strong aromas of orange, tangerine and grapefruit. Unfortunately they smell artificial.

Taste follows but more strongly on the peel of above mentioned fruits. Pretty bitter. Mild juice flavors in the background. Tastes like carbonated citrus punch. Fruitiness is a little much quite honestly.

Very carbonated mouthfeel. Bitter aftertaste. Slightly sticky.

Not my thing. Probably won't ever be my thing. Sadly, this beer was not enjoyable.

Fruity citrus peels and some grain somewhat fruity hops but somewhat bland even though the ABV is quite concealed. The price wasn't that bad and I didn't have much expectations but it's not terrible.

Clear orange-gold, nice off white head, great retention and lace
Grapefruit and orange zest aroma
Grapefruit and orange zest over a light caramel malt, deep, lingering bitterness
Medium-bodied, a little sticky, appropriately carbonated
Decent stuff

From the bottom of the can: "BEST BY 07/22/22 LKW2201807" 2 numbers are smudged then "FL"

Appearance: The body is a firey copper and gold color that looks beautiful. The beer does have some visible suspended particles in it that are extremely tiny and difficult to see, otherwise the beer has very good clarity. It has a fluffy white head that starts out large but recedes down to a short cap and retains well. It leaves some nice rings of lacing.

Aroma: It smells like a freshly cut grapefruit mixed with orange juice.

Taste: Up front there is a candy orange flavor which is a mix between this caramel and orange hard candy and those gummy oranges. A bit of grain flavor comes through in the middle and the citrus starts to slide back a bit. Towards the back of the mouth there is a bitter grapefruit flavor and this somewhat odd flavor that isn't quite describable. The more the beer is consumed, the more the beer starts tasting like those Airborne vitamin C tablets. Alcohol starts to become more present the more the beer is consumed also.

Mouthfeel: It has a pretty strong bitterness which comes across as citrus pith bitterness. It also takes on a weird bitterness that hampers drinkability a bit. The can states that this is "8.2% ALC BY VOL" and while it does show up from time to time it makes a noticeable impression to stay hidden for the most part. Palate cleansing keeps it very well hidden. It drinks pretty easy and it has a body that is just on the border between light and medium with a slight slickness.

Overall: It smells and tastes like a mixture of orange and grapefruit. The can states that it has "BOLD, ORANGE, GRAPEFRUIT FLAVOR" and it absolutely meets the mark. It also states that it is an "ALE WITH NATURAL FLAVORS" but it doesn't state if those are from fruit, concentrate, or natural flavoring additives. It does have a very strong citrus flavor but the flavor also tastes a bit odd. It could have been what they used or how much they used of whatever was used to make this beer. At another point in the future I could probably drink another but I would only be able to have one because of the odd flavor that seems to accompany the citrus. If you are a fan of citrus it is still worth a try because you might not pick up on the odd Airborne Vitamin C tablet character.

This wasn't bad at all, really prevalent grapefruit flavor, with a slight bitter finish. Overall I think I actually would have this again
