This beer may have a cheeky name, but don’t be fooled; it is modeled after fine European pilsners to be light and crisp. Aromatic Noble hop varieties, 2-row malted barley and European style pilsner malt contribute to this pale beer’s smooth character.

So I picked up a bottle of this when I was in the Midwest in 2014 for the reunion. NY beer in Wisconsin, ok, not distro'd here, 'so whatcha gonna do' about it' to quote Mick Jagger and Hulk Hogan.
Yellow in color with a degree of clarity lacking for being a pilsner. 1/3" white head. Aroma went with grass up front with a hint of lemon and grapefruit rind. Interesting. Well carbonated, light mouthfeel, only a little bit of Euro yeast lager feels on this one. Moar skunk plz. Keeps dropping some grassy, floral hop bitter notes. Its a good beer, but it isn't up there with some of my faves like Urquell, SN gothic pils, OB lil yella pils etc. . . I'd check it out again if the price was right, difficult to tell when you buy a rando single what a 6 pack price is. Good summer lawnmower beer.

Too sweet tasting for the style but it wasn't too bad. Cheers! B

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pilsener. Why? Well, its a pilsener by style, why would it be in any other glass. The appearance was a slight hazy yet tried to have a slight transparent yellow color. Light carbonation was seen rising to fill a two finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. The smell was somewhat grassy/yet grainy with a light sweet malts. The taste was basically the same and it left a quick dry sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat fairly light and came across fairly sessionable. The carbonation finished smooth and crisp and felt exactly like a pilsener should be. Overall, good job Southern Tier, I’d have this again.

It's a good beer. Didn't blow my mind but still a well made pils.

L: An energetic brilliant straw colored pour crowned by a ½” quickly dissipating white foam collar. S: Very clean aromas of light grains. T: Traces of sweet caramel in the background and light malts. F: Light and effervescent. O: This is light, crisp and clean but not boring.
