Nice Sam Adams Clone. Boring, but nothing wrong with it. If you're gonna choose between the two, choose this one. I'm sure this one's paying the bills for them over there in Lakewood. Gotta have that Lager, or else the non-beer drinkers will say "your beers are good, but ever think of doing a regular one? I love the Boston Lager"

Had on tap and Sunswick 35/35 in Astoria, NY. Review Taken from notes.

A - This beer pours a nice copper color, that has a ruby hue to it as well. It has a 1 1/2-finger white head. The head left behind some good lacing.

S - The smell is of pale malts, and it has a decent hop presence.

T - The initial taste is pale malts. There is also a touch of fruitiness, and it has a nice spicy hop presence to it. It has a malty finish.

M - It has a medium body and crisp carbonation. It goes down smooth and has a bit of a creamy feel to it. The hop flavor sticks to the mouth a bit.

D - Very good drinkability. It goes down smooth and easy. I could quite a few of these in a sitting. I think this is a great example of the style. Overall, I think this is a good beer, and I'd try it again.

I wanted to love this beer because I knew it would be an easy drinker and it's low in alcohol. However, a vienna lager is a vienna lager. Pretty uninteresting.

Color is a nice reddish hue with a white head that also has hints of red. Aroma is a very light maltiness but really not much of an aroma at all. Flavor is the same. Typical mexican beer but maybe a little more interesting.

seen this on tap at abbott road consumers and for only $8.99, i had to fill a growler. poured into an imperial pint glass about one hour after filling, at fridge temp.

pours out a very clear deep golden, copper color with a nice 2 fingers of fluffy white head. nice retention with lots of sticky lace.

the aroma is mostly that of malt. bready, biscuity, grainy, with a hint of caramel. citrusy and slightly fruity hops in there as well.

a nicely balanced lager. biscuity, bready, grainy malts, a bit of caramel balanced by citrusy slightly fruity hops. mineral like lager yeast at the finish. decent amount of hop bitterness for the style, which i enjoy.

crisp light lager like mouthfeel. adequate carbonation, a little bubbly at times.

a good drinker and a growler is an easy kill. definatly worth every penny on a growler fill if its available to you as they dont bottle this.
IMHO, i think that this beer, netra gal, and eurotrash are all second runnings of there big beers. (netra gal= iniquity, eurotrash= farmers tan, wien= krampus, i have no proof of this, but it would make sense as these are only limited, tap only releases)
