This one pours a fairly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like piney malt, a touch of cracker, orange, and grapefruit.

This is definitely a traditional, dry, West Coast style IPA, and I really appreciate that. There’s not too much maltiness, it’s pleasantly and refreshingly bitter, and there’s a nice dry and pithy grapefruit note.

This is light bodied, clean, dry, and very crisp on the finish. It’s highly drinkable.

There’s a lot I like about this one, and it’s one of the better IPAs I’ve had in a bit now from Southern Tier. Their hazier IPAs lately have been honestly gross, so it’s nice to see a back to basics approach here.

A - Nice bright medium gold pour with very vibrant carbonation and a one pinky thick, dense layer of bright white creamy lacing floating on top.

S - Light biscuity malt with some citrus and pine blended in (but pretty subdued).

T - Biscuity malt base remains light with resiny grapefruit and citrus over top while ending with an assertive piney bite that begins to build as you work through the can.

M - Medium body with gentle but prickly carbonation.

O - Decent. Wish there was more nose and a little more citrus up front. There's definite citrus resin presence but it seems to be a little buried.
